In Loving Memory
"E.T."
Febrary 28, 1981-June 12, 2004

Eternal Supersun, reg. QH gelding, out of the great sire Eternal Sun, has sadly been put down due to severe arthritis from a 1991 catastrophic knee injury which surgery failed to fix.  He lived a
lovely life as a buddy and companion for the last 13 years.  E.T. was well known in the area as a hunter and hack winner in the late 1980s, and captured 1st out of a class of 40+ in a HUS class at the Big E.

E.T. loved the sun, children, showing his 'herd' how to behave like ladies and gentlemen, carrots, and trail rides.  He was my first horse, and did everything I asked of him and more.  We never would have sold him at any price and I am forever grateful for all he taught me about life, and for always being there.

We miss you E.T.!

E.T. is buried on the farm, and a young magnolia tree was planted over his grave..
A Poem for the Grieving
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on riped grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you waken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.
