Dowsing uses the ancient tools of a pendulum or metal rods to decipher questions easily and quickly. Earth Acupuncture, an Adjunct of Dowsing |

The Egyptians used metal rods, similar to dowsing rods, usually copper or gold, and placed eight of them in the ground around their homes, spiritual centes, and land in order to balance the energy within the Earth. Because of the similarity between this technique and the Eastern technique of acupuncture, or placing small needles within the surface of the skin to balance our energies (or meridians) within our bodies, this dowsing technique for exterior protection of our homes has come to known as Earth Acupuncture. Present day affects on our homes have increased since Egyptian times, with telephone and electrical cables above and below our neighborhoods creating electromagnetic waves that affect our health, and this technique is even more powerful accordingly in addition to balancing the energies within the Earth below such as energetic fault lines, underground water veins, rock formations, and shifting plates. |

Meditation is central to the spiritual endeavor in many schools of Hinduism, notably the Yoga tradition. The Bhagavad-Gita (12.12) ranks meditation above intellectual knowledge, and the Garuda-Purana (222.10) states: "Meditation is the highest virtue. Meditation is the foremost austerity. Meditation is the greatest purity. Therefore be fond of meditation." This exhortation expresses a sentiment that is widespread in the sacred literature of Hinduism. However, meditation is by no means universally regarded as the principle means of attaining self-realization, but a very important piece of the whole. |

In our culture today, many find it nearly impossible to still the mind for long periods of time. Practice is therefore imperative, and instruction is usually necessary. Guided meditation is an excellent introduction to the mental peace of true meditation, as alternates in the practice are welcomed, such as mantric recitation and guided visualization. Guided meditation can be used to gain knowledge from spirit, to bring peace of mind and mental clarity, and to bring insight from all realms of spiritual life. Meditation is one of the cornerstones of spiritual enlightenment, and should be integrated into all spiritual practices. |

Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a system of Enlightenment and a Hands on Healing art developed in the early 1900's by Mikao Usui in Japan. It is an art that is passed from Master to student. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words - Rei and Ki, meaning Universal Life Force Energy. The term "Reiki" is used to describe both the energy and the Usui system of using it. The original system by Usui was called Usui Reiki Ryoho. There are many variations of Reiki being practiced in the U.S., and many involve other modalities in combination.
