The total drive was about 25 hours straight with one stop for about an hour or two of sleep. Didn't help too much tho...
So we arrived in Port Elgin and I met the person we were staying with. It's one of Matt's old friends who's name is Fenwick (for aninimity purposes). On top of that, I also met his woman Krista along with his and her daughters, who were both incredible. I'm a sucker for kids... It's weird, because he reminded me of people I grew up with, but nicer, heh! After that, I managed to get some sleep for an hour or so, get a shower, and then we headed to my new home away from home. Strausers.
Strausers is the local bar where I ended up making some friends that I will never forget.
Even though we just met, Fenwick began to play the part of the Kamikazee wingman by introducing us to his best friend Cara D, who's a waitress at the bar. Most people that know me realize that all my skills are gone, so I was too intimidated to talk to her back. More on that later. So it ended up being an early night considering how damn tired we were.
Saturday came around and that's when a few more came out for the festivities.
