In the spring Mike and Ricky visited the Red River in Selkirk, Manitoba. The Red is known for its world class channel catfishing. After a few hours catching goldeye to be used for bait Mike and Ricky headed out onto the water. Within minutes the first cat was hooked. The fish were huge and the current was swift. Without a net these fish were nearly impossible to land. Before returning to the water the following day a trip to the local tackle shop was in order to purchase a net.
