During late spring we headed to a central Minnesota lake to fish for crappies and cats. The crappie action was on fire with fish hitting jigs and minnows in the shallow bays. Most fish averaged 10+ inches in size. Several channel cats were caught as well as several other species. Overall it was a very good trip.
