Inner Ear has been in the studio on and off as the lead members continue to work on their own solo projects. We've confirmed the band is still together, and have been in the studio as recently as this summer working on some new material that may or may not be included on their second major release. Ear has completed 9 songs, most of which are ready to go... But they say they're not ready for an album release quite yet. Maybe a double CD? Too early to tell. But one thing we do know is they're working on some pretty intense tracks, and they've been seen at recent King Crimson and Yes shows. What does it all mean? Keep checking back.

Inner Ear have been seen coming and going to various places around the world, although we cannot confirm the accuracy of such reports. What we do know is the band has completed a number of studio tracks and the rumor of a new album keeps surfacing, and we're hoping for a new one this year! C'mon guys! Keep checking back, folks, as the story continues to be a cliff-hanger.

A cover band in New York City has been seen performing Inner Ear's "I'm THE Man", much to the delight of Manhattan bar crowds. Hooting and hollaring seems to accompany the song wherever it goes.

Confirmed: Inner Ear have been seen in various locations in Ireland possibly preparing tracks for the new album. We know they have a portable tape unit, but whether that's being used for Gaelic inspired new works of musical talent, or just the sheep sounds, is the question.

You heard it here first. Inner Ear did get back in the studio this winter to record several tracks that may or may not be included on their next record. The band is planning on a series of upcoming sessions to, in their words, "give the people what they want - a new (word edited out) record already."

Several delays have pushed back the initial release of Inner Ear's debut CD. Shouting, shattering of glass, and what sounded like a wolf baying at the moon were reported to have been heard at Axis Studios shortly after this announcement. Stunned crowds at the HMV record store in London took the news badly, and police were called upon to ensure order.

Inner Ear made an official statement today saying they were "in fact, very prepared for the millenium date change." They decided, however, to make back-up tapes of all their work "in case all hell breaks loose."

It's official - our inside sources have confirmed Inner Ear has finally finished mixing their yet untitled debut album at Exile Studios in New Jersey. A small reception was held immediately following this tremendous milestone in the band's career. Champagne was said to have been flowing "like the Colorado at the height of the spring thaw."

Although we were not able to officially confirm this, sources close to the band have suggested the final tracks for Inner Ear's debut album were recorded today at Axis Studios. In a surprising schedule change from Ear's usual dusk to dawn recording schedule, Dave S. was seen pulling up to the studio at dawn in his imported sports-car with coffee in hand and Fender case in trunk.
