Dave S. , a founding member, sings lead and backup vocals, plays lead and rhythm guitars, plays bass and was responsible for percussion on several tracks on the new album. He's been playing guitar since 1985, and has performed live and otherwise in a variety of ensembles in the past few years. In addition to Inner Ear, his current projects include, but are not limited to, performing live in a blues quintet in New York City. Dave is looking forward to getting back in the studio with Ear and is hard at work writing new material somewhere at the top of a mountain in New Jersey.

Dave M., a founding member, sings lead vocals, back up vocals, plays rhythm guitar, bass guitar, piano, organ, all synthesizers, congas, and arranges drums and percussion. Dave's musical career began on the piano, where he performed as a child in classical piano recitals and with local school choirs. Co-founder of the cover band Flashback, he later co-founded and performed with Raw Vintage, whose demo material and videos gained 15 minutes of airplay on FM radio and cable TV. Dave later went on to play, record, and party very heavily with the infamous Roadhogs Blues Band. Ear has since allowed Dave to pursue a more "independent" approach to music making, leaving him alone to hang around and play every damn thing he gets his hands on.
