Miracle
They asked, "Do you know where you are?"
I blinked.
They said, "You've been in an accident."
I was scared.
They said, "You've been injured."
I feared.
They said, "Your neck is broken."
I cried.
They said, "You will never walk again."
I denied.
They said, "You will go through therapy."
I closed my eyes.
They said, "You can do it!"
I fell.
They said, "Get up!"
I tried.
They said, "That man has no legs..."
I stared.
They said, "You're one of the lucky."
I thought.
They said, "Concentrate."
I pulled myself up.
They said, "Try harder."
I moved my leg.
They said, "You did it!"
I cried.
They said, "Now the other leg."
I couldn't.
They said, "Don't give up."
I didn't.
They said, "Come on..."
I tried hard.
They said, "You moved it!"
I wept.
They said, "Take a step."
I moved my legs.
They said, "It's a miracle."
I thanked God.
They said, "Try it again."
I did it.
They said, "You will walk again."
I fell to the ground, and cried.
They said, "You can go home."
I smiled.
They said, "You're an inspiration."
I thanked them.
They said, "No...thank you."
I walked out of the Rehab center.
They cried.
