| Love's Plight was written at a very difficult time in my life. I loved my husband so much even in the midst of abuse. I thought if I did whatever he wanted and gave him a good home I would be fulfilled. But the opposite was true. I learned that the human heart is very fickle and incapable of unconditional love within itself. That is when my heart was turned to the Lord and truly became fulfilled. And thus this poem was birthed. |

| Alone But Not Forsaken was written in 1985. We all make wrong choices in life but it is so wonderful to know that our wrong choices don't eliminate from the saving love, grace and mercy of Jesus Christ. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Finally Free I believe speaks for itself. Redemption means not only the buying back of that which was taken but also the setting free of it. (John 8:32, 36) |
