Have you ever wondered what is the purpose of life? why we are here?
Of course you have, we all have and if we say we haven't we are deceiving ourselves. Perhaps your life is one that consists of the daily grind of getting up, going to work, coming home, going to sleep, getting up and going to work again. Perhaps you are one who has means and lives a life of luxury, perhaps you are one who loves to party 24-7, I've been there.
Or perhaps you are one who is lonely, alone, depressed, poor and disabled, I've been there too. And then ultimately we die and take nothing with us.
It all seems rather pointless, hopeless and at best pure futility.

Each one of us, whether we will admit it or not, has a hole in our heart, an empty place that no person or material thing can satisfy.
Have you ever sensed this? That insatiable place was put there on
purpose by God and is reserved for Him and Him alone. I will not
pretend to understand this or try to convince you either.
That is for God to do.

A glove is made in the image and likeness of the hand but until the hand
is inside of it, the glove's purpose is not fulfilled. We were created in the image and likeness of God but until His life flows through us we too have
no real purpose.For reasons my small mind can not comprehend Jesus Christ came into the world to die on the Cross to reveal His unconditional love for us and pay for sin. That empty, unfulfilled and longing place in
the human heart becomes satisfied when we allow Him to enter into
our life by simple belief and receiving Him as personal Savior.
It is a great and sweet mystery that this is the only way.

This does not mean there will not be pain and suffering. I can't explain why these things exist. But I know this, when we are blindsided by these things we have someone to turn to, someone who understands and someone who will comfort and teach us in it. I know this to be true because I live a life of pain, suffering and confinement and He truly is the Comforter He says He is.

There does exist evil in the world. We know this well. For God's own reason He is allowing Satan to run rampant in the world to test the hearts of men and women. But it is only for a short time. Satan's end is very near.

The simplicity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is so distorted in the minds of men and seems hidden if we shut our eyes and ears to it. Jesus Christ
created us to live forever (John 1:1-5, Ecclesiastes 3:14), He died for us (John 3:16-17), and if we receive Him (Ephesians 2:8-9) as our own
personal Savior we will go to Heaven when we die. The choice is left
to us (Deuteronomy 30:19), Heaven or Hell. We have all been given
this privilege by God to choose our own destiny.

Please seriously consider these words. Take them to God.
Try Him and see if it is not true.
It will be the greatest blessing of your life
if you believe and receive Him.
You are very special, there is only one you
created by God and He desires to spend eternity with you.
Receive Jesus and enjoy the eternal life that you were created to inherit.

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock, and if any one
hear My voice, and open the door, I will come into him
and will sup with him and he with Me"
(Revelation 3:20)
