taran was the very first person i met at uni. the day i moved in to my first-year flat he was there. i swear he introduced himself as tod. he swears he didn't. we drank an obscene amount of beer together that year, the following day, a sunday, i remember wandering around the union bar with a crazy hat on my head asking girls if they preffered my hat, taran's hat or another guys hair.
