This is a Gorean room, and non-serious slaves should not come here for
the purpose of disrupting the seriousness nor the enjoyment of this
Steading and it's members.
All new slaves will first go into a {IW-T} collar until trained to the
satisfaction of the Free, and presented to the Jarl for approval. After
training, a Steading Free Member may purchase the slave. In the case
where a Steading Member captured or purchased a girl from somewhere
else, the girl goes into that Free's collar and that Free is responsible
for her training.
- There are six essential qualities that you MUST possess to be
a slave. These are not negotiable nor open for interpretation: Honesty,
integrity, respect, honor, trust and complete and absolute obedience.
- A slave always will be pleasant and cheerful to a Master/Mistress.
If a slave feels they cannot be of a pleasing, positive attitude,
at all times they are in the The Steading, then they are not to enter,
or are to leave until they are in the right frame of mind. It is understood
that each slave will have troubles and problems from time to time.
- A slave doesn't need permission to enter the Steading, however,
all slaves need permission to leave. A slave will ask permission from
one's Master/Mistress if personally owned, or from an Inlet Master/Mistress
to leave, if an Inlet slave. If the request is not answered within
a reasonable amount of time, a slave will ask for permission to leave
3 times, then may go. If there are no Free present, you may leave.
- No slaves will argue with a Master or Mistress because the Master/
Mistress is always right, and any conversation with them ends with
"Yes, Master/Mistress."
- A slave will not shout, nor use profanity.
- All questions and concerns will be brought to the Jarl. The duty
of slaves is to serve and please, not to involve the Masters and Mistresses
with the dealings between slaves. The Jarl does not take sides in
any disagreement but will work to help settle things to the satisfaction
of all.
- Slaves are encouraged to always remember that they are slaves.
The Masters/Mistresses are their first priority. slaves must give
Them attention over their fellow or sister slaves
- No thrall shall touch a bond-maid without express permission by
that bond-maid's Master/Mistress, or, in the case of an Inlet
{IW} bond-maid, without the express
permission of a Free. The penalty for such infraction is death.
There are exceptions to this rule, as in a life and death situation.
- Training slaves will study the ways of the Steading. you will
be expected to greet and serve Masters and Mistresses and when not
serving or studying, you will work around the Steading doing whatever
chores need done. If you are new to Gor, you will not be required
to serve during this period. We will work with you on this until you
are ready and comfortable to do so.
- When a training slave feels ready to be tested, you will be tested
before the Jarl. Please do not hesitate to ask for help.
- A training slave will not serve with heat nor offer services
other than food and drink to the Masters/Mistresses. Serves and conversation
will be done in tower only.
- When in the The Steading and not serving, a slave will find something
to keep themselves busy. There are always dishes to wash, kitchen
to clean, stocking to be done, clothes to wash and mend, food to be
prepared, and crafts to be done. Find something to do. Slaves are
encouraged to be busy, even when no Master/Mistress is present.
- All bond-maids will in a time of attack on this Steading go to
a position of safety in the Med Room. Thralls will arm themselves
(as per the Jarl's instructions) and take up a guarding position in
front of the door. Thralls will engage raiders only after the Raider
has engagned first, or if the Raider has managed to grab a FW or bond-maid.
No public conversation is allowed by bond-maids in the Med room during
the fighting. Healing assignments will be handed out in PM by Healer
or FW to you. you then count accepted wounds on your assigned "patient"
for healing when the raid is over, so you do not have to bother the
Free with unnecessary questions. Stay in the Med Room until the all
clear is sounded.
- slaves will not travel unaccompanied. A Free shall be with them
if they are to go to another room!!! This means that a slave
shall ask a Free to take them to the room which they wish to visit
and the Free, as is their right, shall decide if the trip is necessary.
There are exceptions to this rule of course:
- a mod in performance of their duties
- A slave sent on an errand by their Master or a Free from The Inlet
- A slave sent as a healer to another room
