LET THERE BE LIGHT
There's soft light, harsh light, and light that shines dim.
And 'lite' as in calories to help you stay slim.
Light weight as in boxing, which means you're no bull,
And lightweight meaning you haven't much pull.
There's sunlight and daylight that shines over all,
And nightlight that shows you the way down the hall.
There's light jackets you wear, when light rain is falling,
And lamplight in the window when neighbors come calling.
You sit before firelight romancing your beau
Or you walk in the moonlight, or in the light snow.
There is the lighthouse for safety at sea,
And there's the light color to wear when you're wee.
But beware of light beer before a light meal,
Or being light headed is the way you will feel.
But the brightest light is the one from above,
That reflects from your soul to others with love.
So be aware of that soft inner glow,
That lightens up all of this world below.
And remember that inner light only can shine,
When focused from you on God and mankind,
