There has come soft Rain

the softly falling rain

bathes the air

caresses my face

heals the soil

clouds perspiring

thunder weeping

searing lightning scorches the sky

as precipitation falls thick as thoughts.

the gently breathing wind

haunts the leaves

invades my skin

whispers of winter

clouds unfurling

timbers stretching

life is borne on the wings

of the softly murmuring breezes.
