I See
I see the morning in the sky,
I see the clouds go drifting by.
I see the bright sun shining down,
I see the dew upon the ground.
I see a pond of green and blue,
I see the sky, it's perfect hue.
I see the sun's no longer there,
I feel the tension in the air.
I see the white clouds turn to gray,
I know the storm is on it's way.
I see the lightning, feel the rain,
I hear the thunder again and again.
I see the sunshine peeking through,
I see the sky, it's deep, deep blue.
I see a rainbow in the sky,
It tells me God is the Most High.
I see the sunset in the west,
Of all the colors, I like orange best.
I see the stars, like diamonds rare,
The moon is full, its pale, white glare.
I see the wind rustle in the trees,
I love to feel that nighttime breeze.
Another day has come and gone,
Another night proceeds the dawn.
I see the Maker's wondrous care
For us; He knows our every hair.
I see Creation and wonder why
God sent His son, for me, to die.
And then I see His wondrous Love,
As written in the stars above.
