Literary Links
It can be hard to find truly useful websites, if what you're looking for is neither news, commentary, nor merchandise.  As a scholar, I have been, for some time, keeping track of links that have actually proven useful as research material.  I have included below a great many of the links that I have found useful, not only for literature, but also for computers, computer-related problems, coffee, and Jeeps (and Jeep-related problems).  I hope these links will also be of use to others, who may share some of the same interests.

Otherwise, at least I'll have an easily-accessible record of all the links I've been collecting. ; )

In the future I will take suggestions, as to links and bibliographical materials that
you have found in your Internet searches, that might be of interest to me and my readers.

Library Search Engines - a well-stocked library, with a versatile search engine, is of great help to the researcher seeking obscure books, or one who is trying to find all the books on a given subject.  You can begin by searching these libraries, then, once you've found a book that may be of some use, you can check to see whether your local libraries carry the same book.
University of Michigan MIRLYN search engine - my absolute favorite, U of M has a huge library and one of the best search engines (personally, I find it better than the Library of Congress' web search engine).
The Bodleian Library - possibly the largest collection of texts in the world, the Bodleian provides a number of online resources through the link at the left of the page, "Online Catalogues & Electronic Resources."  The OLIS catalogue lists "over five million of the estimated ten million titles" housed by the Oxford Libraries.
General Literary Links - links that don't fit into a particular literary period or genre, including tools for research, and e-text anthologies.
Poets
Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Elizabethan Authors
ElizabethanAuthors.com - texts  from Shakespeare, Fletcher, Golding, Kyd, Lyly & others -- satire, poetry, fiction, and literary criticism -- transcriptions (some of them modernized and/or glossed) with a few pictures of the original quartos and folios.  There are also some historical resources and "authorship studies," and a page of links.
I am planning to write my Ph.D. dissertation on the works of Herman Melville and Nathaniel Hawthorne, with most of the emphasis on Melville.  I will include in these pages a running bibliography of secondary literature pertaining to Melville; as I slowly build the body of research for my dissertation, the Melville Bibliography will slowly grow.  I may also include a bibliography for Hawthorne in the future.
- links to websites featuring Melville, his work, his life, and critical studies of his work.
Herman Melville
Bibliography - my bibliographical record, to date, of primary and secondary materials relating to Herman Melville, including on-line resources, as well as physical books and articles.
*Many of the best research websites are available only by subscription.  Students will find that their universities' libraries maintain subscriptions to many online, full-text journals and databases.  I may (or I may not) make reference to subscription-only websites--I haven't decided yet.  But I encourage you to find some way to access such online full-text databases as JSTOR, or Project Muse.  If your library doesn't have a subscription to one of these, or if you are not a student or professor, you might also consider enticing some of your friends into pooling your resources to share a subscription.
Jeep Stuff -- tech websites, maintenance, parts, tips.
Coffee
Ravensbrew - a company specializing in irreverence & great coffee.  It is worth visiting their website just to read the descriptions and slogans they use.  I particularly like their Wicked Wolf blend of coffee.
Cafe Nossa Familia - a family owned/operated company from Brazil.  The company supports local charities.  They advocate responsible practices in all areas of the business.  See their website for more information about their business, and their views on the coffee industry.
