Takeshi Nakazato
Driving the best car in the first season of the anime, the Skyline GT-R,
Takeshi Nakazato of the Myougi Night Kids, who is also known as the Black
Lightning, first makes his appearance at the race in Akina where Keisuke
Takahashi of the Red Suns is to race against Takumi. Surprised that Takumi
in his AE86 won, Takeshi decides that he's going to be the one to beat
the 'Akina downhill specialist', and that the Red Suns are next on his
list.Takeshi later shows up at the gas station where the members of the Akina Speed Stars work and asks for the driver of the AE86. Unfortunately Takumi and Iketani weren't there, only Itsuki was - and thanks to Itsuki's big mouth, Takeshi announces that he's challenging the AE86 to a race. Everyone in the Speed Stars was worried about the race since the Skyline was a very fast supercar, and they weren't sure that Takumi could win against Takeshi. Then Takumi asks his father about the Skyline GT-R; Bunta later changed the settings of the AE86 before the night of the race. (No, I am not going to spoil it for you.
