The younger of the Takahashi brothers,
Keisuke is the No. 2 driver of the Red Suns. Keisuke drives a Mazda FD3S
RX-7 and is a skilled driver, second only to his brother. The second best
driver in the team, Keisuke usually acts as the speaker for the Red Suns;
his older brother Ryousuke is the one issuing orders. The two brothers
plan to challenge every team and break every record so that they can claim
that they are the best drivers in Japan.
Keisuke is a rather hot-headed young man and does not like losing - and
I mean that he really does not like losing. This is seen in the
first few episodes when he was beaten by an AE 86 Trueno on a practice
night; the next day he dropped into the gas station where Iketani of the
Speed Stars worked and announced that he had lost to the AE 86 only because
he wasn't ready for it, and that he was going to exact his revenge during
the actual race. |
