Mother of three children:
"We have to wait a long time for appointments"

Mother, 31-40 age group:
"NowDoc [is] not very reliable"

Woman, 41-50 age group:
"NowDoc is not fulfilling my needs - [I] think there should be a doctor available 24/7 without being questioned"

Married living with husband, 51-60 age group:
"If things don't improve with healthcare I will move nearer to Dublin or Galway"

Married 31- 40 age group:
" I had to wait eight and a half months for the results of a routine smear test; when I got the results, there was slight abnormal cells" 


Mother of two children:
If you can't get transport [you] can't come to the doctor.  There's only one doctor on duty to cover all of Inishowen"

"Could be far better - doctor never takes enough time with patient"

"Apart from the cost  [I'm] satisfied with the service"

"[I'm] worried about calling the doctor - NowDoc - out at weekends, evenings and bank holidays.  [I] feel that it would be a big problem - [I] don't like that service!"

"[I'm] very dissatisfied with the Irish medical [service], [I] prefer the British one"

Divorced woman:
"[I'm] happy with my local doctor, it's the system that's unsatisfactory - total lack of respect"


Woman, recently bereaved:
"[I] feel very let down by NowDoc - it was hard having to explain every time I needed a doctor for [recently deceased relative], it made it very impersonal. [My] local doctors were very good and very aware of my feelings"


Woman, 51-60 age group:
"[I'm] not taken seriously because of my age"
