Married woman with 2 children:
"[It's] hard to get a tradesman to come out"

Married woman, aged 21-30:
"There should be a chemist and an ATM machine in [every] local town"

Married woman, aged 31-40:
"Not cosmopolitan enough - not enough variation of individuals and experience"

Mother of 2:
"It's run on who you know and who you're related to"

Mother of three:
"I am not from here originally and it's hard to make friends as people treat you like an outsider"

3.13 Involvement in Local Activities

Twenty-three women in the present sample are involved in women's groups (see Table 7), making it the top local activity.  Only one woman is involved in local activities that related to Politics, making it the least likely activity for the current sample in Inishowen!
