This site may be scarce of much detail in terms of layout, but that's because I'm new to HTML, and I only wanted a main page for the story. The actual chapters are text files.

3/27/07: !!ANGELOX QUEST IS GOING INACTIVE!!
It should have become farely obvious that my passion for this site has all but depleted over the past year-and-a-half. Back in 2005 I was making updates at least twice a week and posting new chapter whenever I could. Last year saw a greater gap between updates with new chapters only in January. For the bulk of the year, all I'd been doing was working on the game offline.
Now I rarely even do that. I hate to make an unfinished game, but I really don't spend any time on it anymore. If you are one of my imaginary fans of this site, don't worry; It's not closing down. I just may never update ever again, and if I do, it will only be to upload the game if I ever choose to do so. Also, it should be noted that I'm no longer checking my Hotmail account, since I never get anything other than spam.
So to wrap things up, this project has been like a journey to me. On this journey to nowhere, I have learned what it is like to have a web alias and to be the master of my own kingdom. I'll never forget everything that has come from this page. And now, to go out with a bang...

------------------------- 11/11/06: I've put up a preview page for the Angelox Quest game, "Angelox: Retaliation". Don't argue, just read it.
------------------------- 9/10/06: I know I'm a bit slow on the update, but as you've all heard, "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin died earlier within the week. It's not like me to update about something irrelevent to the whole concept of Angelox (That is, when I actually do update), but here's a small tribute.
A lot of people said that Steve was irritating, or even just plain phony. The truth is that he was the greatest hero to ever emerge from Australia. How does wrestling animals make you a hero exactly? Well the thing is, he was also an activist, and he was a pioneer, much like the characters in my upcoming game. If it weren't for true, earth-walking characters like Steve, there wouldn't be fictional characters, and if there was, they'd all suck.
So to wrap this little tribute up, the world has been blessed by Steve's courage and humour. Crikey, mate.....

------------------------- 8/26/06: My internet's been acting screwy lately, so I've been offline for a while. Hotmail have some convinient policy that if you don't activate your account in 10 days, you lose all your mail. If you've sent me any important mail (yeah, right) that I haven't replied to, you may have to send it again.

------------------------- 4/28/06: I haven't made any announcements in a while. The main reason for that is because I don't have anything to announce (Hmmm...). I'm just writing this to let everyone know that the site isn't dead yet. I'm currently working on the game/hanging around on the Silver Dragon Breath forums. I'll unveil a preview page for the game sometime in the future when robots will be our masters.
------------------------- 3/8/06: First update in a while. As you can clearly see, i've installed a background. Last post, I said that I was currently creating something in another media. To be more specific, this will have a story, but it won't be a new chapter or anything. So in other words, it could well be a comic, a collection of poems, a cartoon or even an email mission-quest. I won't unveil exactly what it is until later on in the game's development.
Ooops, I just gave it away. OK, this new addition to the site will be a game, but it won't be a game of Quayde's story. This'll follow a different plot.

2/7/06: After many weeks of writing, the second part of the cliffhanger chapter "The unclosing eye" has been posted. It's almost half as long as the whole first saga of the story altogether, so you might want to read it night by night. -------------------------
1/12/06: As well as uploading images to use as links, i've posted the penultimate chapter to saga two. This is the first part of the nightmare that the protagonists have to face. ------------------------- 1/4/06: It's the new year, and the first chapter of Angelox Quest for '06 is the bomb. It is a tad lengthy, but it's still best to date. ------------------------- 12/29/05: Chapter 8 has been posted. It's very Harry Potter-ish; read it and you'll see what I mean. ------------------------- 12/23/05: Only two days till Christmas, and what better gift to give humanity than a new chapter of Angelox Quest. Also, I would like to clear something up: In my story, the dark angel dragon Dalkota's name is pronounced "Dal-kott-ah", not as in Dalkota Fanning. ------------------------- Update 12/20/05: A new chapter has been posted. Not much action, though. This is really more one of those chapters that explains things. ------------------------- Update 12/16/05: I have swapped my old (yet ironically, fairly new) banner with this brand new one. As you can see, it exhibits the central female in both of her forms (though you only really see her neck as a dragon). ------------------------- Update 12/15/05: Chapter five has been posted. Brace yourselves for the chapter that will decide whether Quayde lives or dies... ------------------------- Update 12/8/05: Chapter four has been posted. It is arguably the best chapter yet, and in terms of length, this is the "Lord Of The Rings" of online writing. Enjoy! ------------------------- Update 12/4/05: I have added a guestbook. It is mainly for people who come to this site on a regular basis. (if anyone actually does). ------------------------- Update 11/30/05: The third chapter of saga two has been posted, and I have to say, it is the most suspenseful installment to the series yet. This is leading up to the anti-climax of the story, which you'll see in chapter four. ------------------------- Update 11/22/05: I have added two counters to the site: one that displays the number of first time visitors, and one that shows the amount of times that this index has been loaded. ------------------------- Update 11/21/05: As well as adding the new chapter "Darkness", I have given this site a banner. The site layout is beginning to look less and less like a train wreck every day. In case it isn't obvious, the dragon on the banner is... who am I kidding? Of course it's obvious. ------------------------- Update 11/12/05: The first actual chapter of the second saga has been posted. A lot of you have probably been wondering "What the heck was 'The Journal' all about?". It might seem a little odd now, but it'll begin to make sence in future chapters. ------------------------- Update 10/25/05: I would like to personally thank "Dragons-n-dreams" for hosting my site. I couldn't have gotten any traffic whatsoever if it wasn't for them. My site shall no longer be a ghost-town. ------------------------- Update 10/21/05: The final chapter to the first saga has been posted. It's a big event in the story, fairly emotional, and very long as opposed to the previous installments. The second saga won't begin with a chapter, but with a rather different format. You'll see what I mean soon. Anyhoo, brace yourself for Quayde's biggest yet struggle -both emotive and physically- in "Chapter 14: Hero". ------------------------- Update 10/8/05: There is only one way I can possibly think of advertising my site - shamelessly. Thus, any message board I post on will be sure to contain the URL to this site. In other news, i've posted Chapter 13: Discovery. -------------------------
Update 10/7/05: In the latest chapter, you learn a shocking secret that two characters share. OK, it's not that shocking. Didn't mean to get your hopes up. -------------------------
Update 10/6/05: The eleventh chapter,, has been posted. Nothing much happening at the moment that's worth blabbing about, so i'll leave you to read it in peace. -------------------------

Update 9/28/05: I know there are very few female characters in this story. So far, there has been only one single female dragon and no human girls. Well guess what? Now there is... -------------------------
Update 9/26/05: You've probably been wondering what the actual "quest" is that's mentioned in the title of this page. Though there is no single journey that makes up this story, the first quest that actually matters ("Sea Raiders" doesn't count; read the chapter to find out why) begins in this new installment. -------------------------
Update 9/18/05: The second part of the "Sea Raiders" chapter was posted. You might want to go to the bathroom and grab a drink first, since this is the longest chapter to date. -------------------------
Update 9/17/05: The first part of the "Sea Raiders" chapter has been posted. It will be a two-part chapter, and the most exciting thing to happen in the story so far. That's no figure of speech either; This actually IS the most eventfull part of the story to date. I'll post again soon. -------------------------
Update 9/9/05: As the title of the newest chapter suggests, secrets are begining to be explained. I won't spoil too much, just read the chapter. -------------------------

Update 8/19/05: The first chapter of the actual story unfolds as a young boy named Quayde enters the world of Angelox. His encounters with the supernatural, evil, and a Dragon, all begin in this chapter. Enjoy! -------------------------
Update 8/13/05: I have posted a map of the kingdom of Angelox. Don't bother telling me how sketchy it looks; I know. It has most of the main parts of the kingdom, along with the borders of the 4 continents of Angelox: Pentag, Velkon, Norka, and Dalphone.

Update 8/5/05: The day my site was posted, and the world rejoiced. I have posted "Chapter 0" to the story, the prelude to get you into my fantasy world and help you understand it better. You see, this story is set in a world of its own, and unless you were born in this so-called world (meaning, "unless you are a character in my story"), you may have a hard time understanding terms and the reality of the world itself. If I do decide to write a third saga, it won't be for a long time. Right now, i'm working on something to put on the site in a different media. I'll unveil more on that later.
