Penannular Brooch is the
ancient Celtic safety pin.
They used them to hold their clothes together. They are sometimes called Kilt pins or Ring pins. They can be used to hold cloaks or shawls closed, or simply as a decoration.

How to make a penannular work:
Step 1. Insert the pin thru the fabric from front to back.
Step 2. Push pin back thru fabric to front.
