| 2004-03-14 BIG SUCCESS IN SWEDEN Due to sickness we had only one team member on the start line in the Swedish ski mountaineering race Vertex Winter this weeend, but it was enough to win the individual women race on Friday. On Saturday we had to borrow a man from Sweden to put up a team in the pair race. Now we won the mixed class. We will soon present the results and photos here but now you can find them on organisers pages (in Swedish). |
| 2004-04-27 AVALANCE DANGER STOPPED OUR RACE IN PDG We had a good start in Patrouille des Glaciers and went on in a stable speed during the night. Half a way we were still well ahead of the time limits and could save some energy for the last climb when going up towards Riedmatten. Just under the pass we had a big surprice. The pass were closed about ten minutes before we arrived because of avalance danger. We were a bit unlucky this time, but will come back next time, in 2006 and make the whole race. |
