Ingleside Dreams- Anne's Scrapbook
To Anne's Scrapbook

This site is very graphics intensive, with many photos and images. As such, it may take a long time to load.

Many people think that scrapbooking is a new hobby, but scrapbooking was very popular in Victorian and Edwardian times. Many girls and ladies used scrapbooks to keep their memories and souvenirs from special events like balls, weddings, births, concerts, and even funerals! Although it is not mentioned in the books, someone like Anne might have kept a scrapbook to record things that were important to her. The author of the Anne books, L.M. Montgomery, kept many scrapbooks during her life. You can see some of them on the web, here.
