Blackie was born near the Amazon into a clan of spider monkeys, and grew up with them and the Monkeyman for the first 5 years of his little life. At that point, Trophy Hunters from North America hunted Blackie and the Monkeyman, and though the Monkeyman escaped, Blackie was captured and believed to have been destroyed. However, in the last few months the truth has been unravelled to reveal a strange twisted tale of torture, love, death, and dreams! Indeed, Blackie experienced all of these things in a marathon adventure that stretched all over the world, and his story will soon be available as a paperback and online book.
