is my passion.-
I was born in a small town Atiquizaya, 80 kmts west of San Salvador in 1961, in a farmers family and studied in a catholic scholl. After high scholl, I attended a Mexican engineering school in Monterrey, known as Monterrey Tech, www.itesm.com.mx , graduating in 1985 as an electromechanical engineer.-
My first experience was on a recently formed company where I used to work on my summer vacations,
La Mancha, a company funded by an american citycen, Gary Sipe, there we were designing and building grain storage facilities, feedmills, agro-industrial equipments, and animal housing with automatic systems.-
My biggest project there was the construction of a feedmill in Colombia for INCUBACOL, a 90 ton/hour system.-
I had also had a lot of experience in agriculture, in different plantations like: Rice, Corn, Beans, Sorgun, Coffe, Fruit trees, Tomato, Sugar Cane, and others. I also funded with other partners an agricultural company in Guatemala, SAIG, wich was dedicated to develop a large Rice plantation,. There I was the general manager and as a plus I designed a small irrigation and drain system for 180 Ha. And during all this projects I always was in charge of the administration of the agricultural machinery, tractors, combines and the all the soil tillage and preparation operations.-
More experience in mechanical engineering was acquired by working on many pipe mounting projects in a geothermal zone. There, I worked with 3 companies for a Power Generation facility, directing and supervising the mounting and welding of many kilometers of plain carbon pipes. We installed other geothermal equipments for this plant used in this industry, like thermal insulation, geothermal seaparation tanks, valves, and instrumentation. Doing also some survey, civil works, and project management to get the less cost and shortest time to finish this projects.-
There were other small projects I donne also in different fields, like leather manufacturing, carpentry, furniture design, small engineering contracts, like pipe maintanence, alluminum welding, and plant design.-
I had selling experience in a company, with industrial equipments during one year, and also participated there in construction projects in companys like Coca Cola, Milk processing companys, food processing failities, Beer manufacturing, and many other industries.-
In the civil work area, I worked for a company, been in charge of the civil works in projects doing survey, soil preparation, concrete pouring, metal structure mounting, and roofing mounting also.-
In my town I was always a member of comunity organizations, like the Red Cross, Boys Scouts, I was once the president of a small Finantial Cooperative,
and two development ONGs, pursuing the tourism and echonomical development of our town. Not to mention that I was during 10 years the president of an agriculturers group dedicated to develop an irrigation project.-
And since 1999, I started my representations company, by offering technology to our industry with the support of excellent companys mentioned in this web site.-
