  The 7000AI series drives, were manufactured specifically for 
  "I"BM. IBM had the jumpers changed on the early models to fit 
  their specifications. Part of IBM's spec. was that the drive 
  be "CAM spec", therefore J19 is used only as a spare jumper.

  At some point IBM changed their mind and started using these 
  drives just the way we normally make them. BUT, we don't have 
  ANY info on what TLAs go with what drives. So try it both ways.
  To the best of my knowledge all other AI drives, 7213AI, 7170AI, 
  etc. are jumped "normally":
