celebration but is really hiding behind a colorful mask!
Mardi Gra is all about Beer, Wine, and Women.
Mardi Gra promotes drunkeness. After the parade or concert or whatever,
the whole event becomes
a huge drunk fest that usually ends with the police taking mobs to jail.
What does the Bible say about alcoholic drinks.
Hab 2:15 Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy
bottle to him, and makest
him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!
Pro 23:29-32 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who
hath babbling? who hath
wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?
They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.
Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour
in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.
At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.
How people have died because they were driving drunk?
How many innocent People have been killed because they got hit by a
drunk driver?
Are there not many nationally know organizations against drunk driving
like MADD.
Mardi Gras also promotes smoking. Many cigarette butts will be left
there.
Wayne Mclaren, died of lung cancer at 51. David Millar Jr. died of
Emphysema.
Both were models for Marlboro. Janet Sackman, Lucky Strike poster girl,
lost her
voice box and part of 1 lung to cancer.
Mardi Gras Promotes Grotesque Womanizing.
The main event is to have the women flash their boobs and get worthless
beads!
What does the Bible say about this.

So what is the point of Mardi Gras anyway. To get a bunch of worthless
beads!
It may be pointed out that whoever can leave before things get too bad.
Yet whoever goes is supporting Drunkenness, smoking, and Womanizing.
Do something else besides Mardi Gras like:
Board Games: Monopoly, Risk, Life, Clue, Battleship, etc.
Have a Bible Study. 2Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto
God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of
truth.
Walk the dog, cat, etc. Avoid the Madness! Don't risk
