| The Missing Earring by Judy |

| I was scheduled to teach a one-session class (on ADD!) and a four-session class on something else. The four-session class got cancelled, which sometimes happens. The college called me twice on that to notify me. I had also spoken with the Director of non-traditional programs twice in the past week (for next spring classes - she LOVES my topics!) and she didn't say anything about yesterday's class either. | ||||
| *Not once* did anyone mention the one-session class was all set to go. (I had enough students.) It was to start at 1:00. They called me a minute after one to tell me there was a class there waiting. I was stunned. I had no place on my calendar that I had to be. I was catching up on other important stuff. | ||||
| Fortunately they said they could postpone this class till next week; I love to go broaden people's awareness because it's fun, and no one else is doing it in my area. So I hope those people can all come back next week. | ||||
| Last spring when I taught that ADD class for the first time, I had hastily thrown earrings into my pocket, grabbed all my stuff, jumped into the car, and off I went. I took my med and supplements on the way there. | ||||
| After I got home, I noticed I only had one earring on, a nice pair too, and I thought, "Where's the other one? Oh great, now that's gone; another favorite pair of earrings orphaned.!" Then I happened to stick my hands in my pockets a while later, and there was the other earring, which I was sure I would never have seen again. :) | ||||
| Just goes to show that forgetfulness is hard for anyone, but particularly for those of us with sponge foam thinking. Mine must have been filled with "bubble juice!" | ||||
