| To those out there who are going to be enlisted.. do you have what it takes to be a soldier? Any questions or doubts to clear before you go? Life isn't that bad as long as you do the right thing, sometimes people say that recruits are blur, but not really, there are some really steady ones that help themselves and others too Now in BMTC, life isn't that bad as before. The instructors will gladly help you if you need any assistance, just don't get them frustrated thats all. You can just drop me an e-mail if you have any enquiries. This is the jetty. These are enlistees coming over, the big bag they are carrying is called the duffle bag. It contains things like your uniform, boots, field pack and stuff like that. | |||||||

| This are some of the accomodation blocks a recruit will be staying. The ground floor is where the offices are and the 1st to the 4th floor is where the platoons will be lodging. | ||||||||

| More accomodation blocks here. There you can see some recruits around. At the far end some are marching. Yes you have to march point to point wherever you go, and also of course not forgetting singing army songs too. | ||||||||
| This is the BMTC bunks. You are going to stay in here. Don't worry about wooden planks and ghost this or that. Its going to be comfortable and nothing is going to stop you from sleeping unless you scare yourself. Its a 10-men bunk which 1 metal cupboard for your clothes and stuff, and one wooden cabinet in front of your bed for your shoes and miscellenous things. A bunk like this can be awarded with a "standby bed" | ||||||||

| This is a typical BMTC training shelter. This is where the recruits will learn what it takes to be a soldier most of the time. From weapons, to drills and field training. This shot is taken when its way after lunch hrs, that means it going to be admin time where they can have their own personal time. So they are all in admin attire. | ||||||||
