65th Anniversary Committee Meeting

Nyram Tiv is the head of the layout/Decorations committee
Cindy and Ny came up with a souvenir pouch filled with candy. The bag will be made by them with a sewing machine and have the 65th logo imprinted on it
If we had a bigger budget, we could make ornaments for a Christmas Tree each one with a unique fact about Gamma Beta
Depending on the table layout, we could have centerpieces on each table or some on each row. A few ballons are good.
Est $75-100 for souvenirs, $50 centerpieces
For displays, we can take old newspaper articles, blow them up and displaythem liek posters.
The people are more important and entrtaining than the food and decor
Make the show worh going to
The room needs to create a more gamma Beta environment
We need to email the potential guest witht he date, aying other details are tentative. Ask them to keep the date open and more will come soon

if we use a more empty room for the event, we will need more decorations

Sgt: make a time capsule and ask alumi to donate some items to commemorate the 65th Anniversary and to abe used for future members

Invitation: ask alumni to bring stuff for time capsule, even written stories are good. Add an envelope so that people can RSVP to

Banquet: Combine ticket sales for banquet and 65th like if the Banquet to save money and promote both

Ask members in the meeting if they have any connections, if they know people
2 newsletters: initial Alumni Edition and second 65th Anniversary Edition for Alumni to take home
the 65th Anniversary Edition will have addendums by the historian and look better
Sharon prints mailing and return address labels
Reed gets envelopes from Stanford
