10/07/2004 Come up with a Plan B in case the first is not approved presentation: bring calculator for alternate plans based on (this amount) we can get (this many) people to come explain why actives pay less than alumni This event appeals more to alumni, since they do not go to other events. Actives have many events to go to and have financial strain hype the venue (Richwood) historians have items to give to alumni, history project we could earn more income from GG and other chapter by providing people we need to contact other chapters now! Attendance is the biggest problem Every week we need to present something we msut meet our figures that we present to the chapter I need to market this event in the best possible way give people at least 1 montht o RSVP we need to book the venue by Saturday other places are booked, especially the hotels email everyone and send an email to pledges for envelope stuffing Some people have been talking about the 65th Anniversary, For example, when Nyram was pleding two years ago, she heard members talk about it. What happened was that those were working on it are no longer here, and now we are taking resposnibility for this; the Alumni Secretary, Historian, President We will have more alumni respond than a typical alumni night because this event is bigger and of mroe importance. We also have more confirmed addresses and communication dialogue thanks to Robert Peeks and the Alumni Secretary committee's efforts over the past year. We have at least ____ new confirmed addresses since last year. We will also extend the invitation to other people, including alumni spouses, staff members of the region and section, (and interchapter brothers like Gamma Gamma). We also anticipate t-shirt sales because even if some alumni cannot attend, they may still want to buy a t-shirt to support us and have a souvenier. We are also going to fundraise from the Great America Tickets. Here is how: we will give people the tickets and ask for donations. These donations are tax deductible and will come with a letter with all the information they need to learn out our fundraising cause. We also plan to have a little A Phi O Apparrel shop from the Phillipines representative, Pearl Parmelee and sell to our members, past and present, A Phi O clothes and accessories, like the embroidered collared shirt.
