California State Capital   

This image is part of a group of 4x5 negatives of the capitol which I have contact printed. I have a very strong appeal for this building and have returned many times to photograph it under different conditions.

The California State Capitol in downtown Sacramento holds a particular fascination for me. For some reason, I am drawn to this building. I find myself going to this building at all times of day to see what it looks like in all kinds of weather conditions.

This particular image is a contact print of a 4x5 inch negative I created a few years ago. The larger size of the 4x5 inch

negative allows for a much higher level of detail in the image along with a greater subtlety of tones resulting in a much higher quality enlargement.
