This image of a bottle of saline solution started out as a means of demonstrating to a gentleman I know what kind of an image I could create given a relatively short amount of time.
To that end, I created the saline solution bottle object, including a cap that can be lifted to reveal the spout of the bottle underneath it. The label is a highly detailed image I created in Photoshop (with no scanning) and mapped onto a second object around the bottle.
This was all accomplished inside the lesser portion of an afternoon.
After having gone to all that work, I thought that the bottle looked a little lonely and then set about creating the "Optima" box and contact lens washer. The box, if inspected can be seen to be modeled as the real life box -- it is one contiguous object which was then folded (including interior flaps) so that it was properly shaped. The contact washer also has a removable lid.
