This was an amazing car to work on, I purchased this for a family car and realized some potential in it. It's a 1989 Honda Accord LX-i, a 2.0 litre fuel injected engine. I installed a set of Tokico HP springs and struts, Pacesetter header, Flowmaster 50 series DeltaFlow muffler, Homemade Short Ram Instake with K&N Air Filter, MSD SCI Iginition, MSD Blaster SS Coil, NGK Plugs and Wires. For the stereo I had a Panasonic HU, 2 12" JL Audio W0's in a sealed box, two 6.5" Infinity Reference Component Speakers up front and Infinity Reference 6x9's in the rear, and two Rockford Fosgate Power Amps. Had some 17" Motegi MR8's with some 40 series tires thrown on. I also made some clear side marker lights from the front and clear front bumper turn signals. I went a little overboard on paint the blue accents on the car but if anyone knows how hard it is to remove/install the interior parts, they should atleast give a thumbs up on that.
I ended up selling this car to my sister and really regret it, I have purchase a few other vehicles since and am wanting to purchase another '89 LX-i in the future. Recently I purchased my wife a 1996 Accord EX with the 2.2Vtec and it is a nice car but I still want this car back! haha Anywas, here are a couple of pics that I had, hope you enjoy. I will try to post some more if I can find some. |
