don't grow cold, we'll fade it out
make sure the feelings there
package it up, no sponsors or ads
it'll be us, and we'll open up

connect, never idle away the fuel
cold fusion from fear, we'll keep it together
in music we'll stay one, without it we're dead
fall to the groove and that's how we'll remember

don't grow cold, we'll fade it out
make sure the feelings there
package it up, no sponsors or ads
it'll be us, and we'll open up

Radiohead, two guitars, and one us
Remember, two guitars, and one us
So, this is a direct result of emotions stemming from anxiety over the possible loss of a friend. Tony wrote this before he left San Francisco for Seattle, and was recalling the feelings he had when Blake left for Humboldt. Basically when you don't want there to be something missing.
The guitars are pretty simple, but they started out a bit different. Before this had lyrics, it was just called "variation," because we thought the rhythm sounded like a variation on a Radiohead song. The lead just gets improvised following a few riffs Tony likes to play. No bass part again, but hey, none of us has four arms and a double neck guitar/bass, so back off. Ummm, Blake drums stuff....good stuff.
