| So, this is a direct result of emotions stemming from anxiety over the possible loss of a friend. Tony wrote this before he left San Francisco for Seattle, and was recalling the feelings he had when Blake left for Humboldt. Basically when you don't want there to be something missing. |
| The guitars are pretty simple, but they started out a bit different. Before this had lyrics, it was just called "variation," because we thought the rhythm sounded like a variation on a Radiohead song. The lead just gets improvised following a few riffs Tony likes to play. No bass part again, but hey, none of us has four arms and a double neck guitar/bass, so back off. Ummm, Blake drums stuff....good stuff. |
