DIE JOURNAL DIE
Wow, a new page, what a way to start my use of this new computer of mine. Okay, so it isn't new, but it is new to me, and the only computer I have ever personally owned. I feel really happy about this purchase, and it inspired me to update the ole page a little more.

In work related news, one of my least favorite co-workers transfered to another Tully's which means I will be loathing work that much less.

Oh, I got that fantastic ROTOVIBE I have been trying to get. Decent deal on it too. It sounds really awesome, and I can see using it with a clean guitar alot, and then also for making crazy noises with distortion, phaser, and delay.

My new guitar is also amazing (am I bragging? I think so!). Sorry couldn't resist, just having good equipment makes me feel less bad about not being able to produce the sounds I want to hear. It means I am not projecting my inability to play onto the equipment. Ah, yes, well better sum this up, it's already a bit too long.

There's no reason I am putting the pictures of my guitar here. I just want a place that I can look at it, even if I am away from home. I wish I could put a webcam on it. That way, I'd know it was safe. Damn thieves!
She's purdy, ain't she...... I am so sorry you had to experience that. Every once in a while, my hick roots show through. Once again, I am very sorry.

Oh, but if you must know, I switched a few things about the guitar. Now the pickguard is tortoise, and the control plate is flipped around, so that the pickup selector is closer to bottom of the guitar.

Alright! Today is an awesome day! I am sitting in front of my computer, enjoying the beginning of my weekend, waiting for some water to boil, and writing in this here journal. What makes all this just a little bit more special is that the rain is comin down fast outside, and I am listening to the Thom York Bridge School Benefit performances. He's amazing, and the sound of swooshing wind and rain only adds to the atmosphere.

In a bit I'll have a drop of tea, and sit down to writing lyrics or play guitar. It doesn't matter what I do today, because I have no money, and I have no plans. Ash is in her classes, so I am left to my own devices. I should set up my pedals and spruce up the place a little in case my neighbor wants to jam a bit later. As far as I can tell, this guy is a computerish stoner with excellent taste in music (U2, the clash, RADIOHEAD, and Mogwai). He told me that Mogwai play fairly often in Seattle considering they're from Scotland. Oh, and I should definately get tickets to see Sigur Ros very soon, or I might miss them.

All is good in the land of Tony. He feels very content, and hopes you are enjoying all the work he has put into this little website.

And wearing his favorite weekend sweatpants, some tea in hand, a knit cap wrapped 'round his head, and Thom crooning softly in the background, he set about his work. The only work he fully enjoyed: the work of living, dying, crying, singing, hating, loving, all at once, and with more passion than the last time.

So I am back in San Francsico, temporarily, but while I am here, I figure I should update a few things. Number One: My New Computer is Dead, but will be revived in a week or so. Number B: I hate computer viri, and wish that they weren't so vicious. Thrice: I still have not sent out the Sample CD for the EMP Sound Off Competition, so I will do that later today. 4444: I am spending time with family, and later tonight will be purchasing tickets to see Sigur Ros with Con and Blake. I guess that's it, except that I have just started a picture collection entitled "Monument Molestation." For now, I'll stick the first and only picture here, and later we'll have a section for it. Basically the collection is just a bunch of pictures of ME molesting our national/state/city monuments. I have one of me busting a nut on one of the Space Needles giant nuts, but couldn't find it to post it, so instead, here we have me doing one of the unthinkables to a famous bronze statue up here in Seattle.
