After Prue releases a warlock (Billy Wirth) who was trapped
in an ancient locket, the Halliwells summon the woman who put him there: the
first witch (Tyler Layton) in their family. Also: Andy investigates the
being's arrival, which seems to involve Rex and Hannah.
#10 Wicca Envy (Jan 13, 1999)
Rex tries to frame Prue for stealing a tiara by manipulating the
sisters and the police with a process in which he implants subliminal
thoughts in their heads. Also: Piper and Leo explore new territory.
#11 Feats of Clay (Jan 20,
1999)
Prue has a bad feeling about Phoebe's visiting old flame, but still
agrees to auction off an urn he acquired in Egypt unaware the piece is not
only stolen, but also cursed. Meanwhile, Phoebe gets reacquainted with her ex;
and Piper helps a co-worker.
#12 Wendigo (Feb 3, 1999)
After a man saves Piper from the same beast that killed his fiancιe,
Andy teams up with an FBI agent to investigate the creature, which takes a
human form during the day. Meanwhile, Phoebe tries to prove a mother's
kidnapped daughter is alive.

The Halliwells' mom warns them about a demon who arrives every 1300
years on Friday the 13th to literally scare witches to death and feed on their
fear; Phoebe has misgivings about a job; Piper lets superstitions dictate her

When a boy with powers is kidnapped by two thugs who plan to use him
in a robbery, the sisters get a message that he needs help. But they don't know

Prue is hunted by a magical warrior who needs the powers of a witch
in order to regain his own, so she casts a spell to triple her strength but

The sisters travel back to the 1970s to prevent their mom from
making a pact with a warlock that makes him immune to their powers.
Unfortunately, their mom who's pregnant with Phoebe and grandmother think

Prue must help a man escape from his evil, sorcerous family, as well
as his own dark nature.

Prue and Phoebe must contend with an evil ghost looking for revenge

Piper's old flame Leo returns to San Francisco with a plea for
Piper's help in protecting an innocent woman from a demonic being that has been
chasing them.
#20 Deja Vu All Over Again
(May 26, 1999)
The sisters are forced to relive the same day over and over again by
a demon known as Tempus, the Devil's Sorcerer. Only their death will end the
dangerous time loop.
Season 2
#21 Witch Trial (Sep 30, 1999)
A powerful demon named Abraxas steals the Book of Shadows and
resurrects some of the trio's old foes. He also begins to erase spells in the book
in an attempt to rob the sisters of their abilities and leave them vulnerable
to attack.
#22 Morality Bites (Oct 7,
1999)
Phoebe has a vivid premonition foretelling her own death burned at
the stake for killing a man with her powers in the year 2009. To prevent her
execution, the sisters travel to the future, where they discover their powers
have evolved.
#23 The Devil (Oct 14, 1999)
Business at the nightclub is taking off and so are some patrons. After
Piper books the band Dishwalla, female fans start disappearing during their
performance, and the sisters suspect the band's manager may have struck a deal
with a demon to gain fame and fortune in exchange for female sacrifices.
#24 The Painted World
(Oct 21, 1999)
Prue discovers that the world of art can be dangerous when she's
trapped inside an enchanted painting, along with a warlock who's been
imprisoned for 70 years. Meanwhile, Phoebe casts a spell that makes her super
intelligent in order to land a job as a research coordinator.
#25 She's a Man, Baby, a Man
(Nov 4, 1999)
An evil demon called a Succubus is luring men to their deaths, so
Prue goes deep undercover by casting a spell that transforms her into a man.
Meanwhile, Piper is deep in thought trying to think of ways to make the
sisters' nightclub a success.
#26 That Old Black Magic (Nov
11, 1999)
An evil witch escapes a 200-year imprisonment and seeks to destroy
the Charmed Ones. The only hope is to find a "Chosen One" who can use
the witch's wand for good, rather than evil.
#27 They're Everywhere (Nov
18, 1999)
The sisters run afoul of a group of warlocks known as "The
Collectors," who gain knowledge by draining human brains. The group's next
target is a man who knows the whereabouts of a set of ancient tablets that
offer information about the future.
#28 P3 H2O (Dec 9, 1999)
The sisters go to the summer camp where their mother drowned and
discover that she was slain by a watery demon while her White Lighter guide and
lover, Sam, stood by helplessly. With the long-closed camp scheduled to reopen,
the witches must stop the demon before it kills again. Meanwhile, Piper and Leo
face hard choices after learning the fate of her mother and her mystical guide.
#29 Ms. Hellfire (Jan 13,
2000)
The sisters evade an attempt on their lives that results in the
assassin's death, leading Prue to assume the hit woman's identity in hopes of
finding out who ordered their executions. Prue's investigation soon brings her
into contact with a dangerous criminal.
#30 Heartbreak City (Jan 20,
2000)
Phoebe is depressed about the state of her love life as she sees her
sisters having romantic success. Her luck may change, however, when Cupid comes
to her for help with an evil demon named Drazi, who has stolen a ring that
bestows power over love.
#31 Reckless Abandon (Jan 27,
2000)
A powerful vision moves Phoebe to bring home an abandoned infant in
order to protect him from a spirit bent on revenge. Piper and Prue hurry to
find the child's family before the ghost hunts down the baby and Phoebe.
#32 Awakened (Feb 3, 2000)
Piper contracts a rare tropical disease and slips into a coma,
forcing Prue and Phoebe to cast a spell to awaken her. In the process, they
cause the disease to spread throughout the hospital via a playful courier.
There's one other frightening side effect the sisters now can't sleep, which
threatens to drive them insane.
#33 Animal Pragmatism (Feb 10,
2000)
Phoebe discovers that her collegiate study group has used a love
spell to turn three animals into men on Valentine's Day. The men, however, have
retained their animal instincts and begin attacking innocent students.
#34 Pardon My Past (Feb 17,
2000)
When Phoebe is confronted by a spirit from the past, she travels
back to 1924 and learns that in a former life she was seduced by the dark side
of her powers and used them to destroy Piper and Prue.
#35 Give Me a Sign (Feb 24,
2000)
Prue's old flame, the criminally minded Bane, is targeted by a demon
known as Litvack, so he kidnaps Prue to make her use her powers to protect him.
Their mutual attraction, however, concerns Prue's sisters, who fear she may be
losing sight of Bane's evil identity. Meanwhile, Phoebe casts a spell to help
Piper decide between Leo and Dan.
#36 Murphy (Mar 30, 2000)
When Prue prevents a Darklighter from killing a potential
Whitelighter, she becomes the target for his anger. The demon curses her with
bad luck, driving Prue to the brink of insanity. Piper, meanwhile, struggles to
make a choice between Leo and Dan.
#37 How to Make a Quilt out of
Americans (Apr 6, 2000)
The Halliwell sisters get a visit from their Aunt Gail, who claims to
need their help stopping a demon named Cryto who steals cadavers' skins. But
their relative may not be as honest as she appears.
#38 Chick Flick (Apr 20, 2000)
The Charmed Ones encounter a demon who has the ability to make
images from film step off the screen and come to life. He proceeds to send
moviedom's worst psychopaths against the sisters, who must find a way to send
them back to the reel world.
#39 Ex Libris (Apr 27, 2000)
Phoebe meets a monster that kills innocent mortals when they get
close to finding physical proof of the existence of demons. Also, Prue aids a
father on a quest for justice in his daughter's murder, which occurred several
years earlier.
#40 Astral Monkey (May 4,
2000)
A doctor investigating the sisters' strange talents imbues three
monkeys with their abilities, then accidentally receives all their powers at
once, which threatens to drive him mad.
#41 Apocalypse, Not (May 11,
2000)
The Halliwells face their most deadly, powerful challenge to date:
the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Circumstances force the sisters into an
alliance with the super-demons after one of the Horsemen and Prue are sucked
into another dimension.
#42 Be Careful What You Witch
For (May 18, 2000)
The sisters have angered the Infernal Council so often that they
want to teach the Halliwells a lesson. It involves a genie who is sent to grant
them each a wish. However, the sisters are unaware that there are darker
intentions at work.
Season 3
#45 Honeymoon (Oct 5, 2000)
Barenaked Ladies perform at the sisters' club, as, in another
plotline, Prue and Phoebe capture a demonically possessed killer, only to watch
him beat the murder charge in court, due in part to their inability to explain
what happened to the murder weapon.
#46 Magic Hour (Oct 12, 2000)
The Charmed Ones search for a way to let Piper and Leo marry without
angering the whitelighter's celestial superiors, who have promised
"unspeakable wrath" if the two wed. Meanwhile, the sisters try to aid
a man who is cursed to be a crow for 12 hours a day.
#47 Once Upon a Time (Oct 19,
2000)
The sisters aid a girl using a jewelry box to keep a fairy safe from
trolls who want to use the winged creature to take over the magical kingdom
ruled by the fairy's parents. Meanwhile, a distraught Piper goes on strike,
refusing to use her powers to help innocents until Leo's superiors allow the
couple to reunite.
#48 All Halliwells Eve (Oct
26, 2000)
On Halloween night, the sisters are sent through a time vortex back
to 1670, where they must protect an unborn child from evil. Meanwhile, in the
present, Leo and Darryl battle Grimlocks who have returned from the dead and
seek revenge on the Charmed Ones.
#49 Sight Unseen (Nov 2, 2000)
Someone breaks into the Halliwells' house and smashes all the
mirrors, and as the sisters consider the suspects, a determined Prue sets out
to find the culprit. Meanwhile, Cole learns that his superiors have assigned
another demon to destroy the Charmed Ones.
#50 Primrose Empath (Nov 9,
2000)
Prue casts a spell to end the pain of a vagrant man who experiences
other people's suffering, only to have his curse pass on to her with possible
fatal repercussions.
#51 Power Outage (Nov 16,
2000)
Cole plans to destroy the Halliwell sisters by enlisting the help of
a demon who elevates his victim's anger into violent rage. Cole then tries to
get the sisters to turn on each other by using information he gathers from one
of their arguments.
#52 Sleuthing with the Enemy
(Dec 14, 2000)
A demon named Krell seeks Prue and Piper's help in destroying
Belthazor, the demon who disguises himself as Cole and has his sights set on
killing the charmed sisters. Meanwhile, an injured Cole gets a surprise visit
from a concerned Phoebe, who, like her sisters, is unaware of the lawyer's true
identity.
#53 Coyote Piper (Jan 11,
2001)
An evil spirit existing in the form of a gas escapes an alchemist
who wants to control it and enters the body of a man to hunt for one of the
Halliwell sisters. Meanwhile, Prue helps Piper prepare for the middle sister's
10-year high-school reunion, an event Piper dreads attending.
#54 We All Scream for Ice
Cream (Jan 18, 2001)
Prue has a melody stuck in her head and she discovers its origin
while having lunch with Phoebe in a park it's the sound of an ice-cream truck
whose driver abducts children. Meanwhile, Piper tries to find the Halliwell
sisters' father after receiving news that he was spotted in town.
#55 Blinded by the
Whitelighter (Jan 25, 2001)
A warlock slays a witch and steals her power to deflect objects and
spells. The sisters pursue the killer against the advice of Natalie, the fallen
witch's Whitelighter and an old friend of Leo's. Elsewhere, Phoebe is interrogated
by a member of the district attorney's office who is investigating Cole's
disappearance.
#56 Wrestling with Demons (Feb
2, 2001)
A demon disguised as a sports agent recruits mortals to turn demonic
and his latest apprentice is a man from Prue's past, an athlete who disappeared
six years earlier. Meanwhile, Leo loses the engagement ring that he planned to
give to Piper.
#57 Bride and Gloom (Feb 8,
2001)
A warlock uses disguises to lure Prue to a ceremonial altar, where
he plans to wed the Halliwell sister and turn her to evil hoping the effect
will spread to her siblings and the Book of Shadows. Meanwhile, Piper and Leo
clash over their wedding plans.
#58 The Good, the Bad and the
Cursed (Feb 15, 2001)
While visiting a ghost town with her father, Phoebe has visions of a
cowboy from the Old West getting beaten up and she begins to suffer from his
injuries, which later include a gunshot wound. Elsewhere, Leo finds out that
his future father-in-law doesn't know that Leo is a Whitelighter.
#59 Just Harried (Feb 22,
2001)
Leo and Piper's wedding day arrives, but all is not well with Prue.
While she sleeps, her astral self orbs into a biker bar, where the spirit gets
involved in a quarrel with a man who dies, leaving the real Prue a murder
suspect.
#60 Death Takes a Halliwell
(Mar 15, 2001)
Prue sees the Angel of Death as he takes a murdered woman's soul
and the specter warns that he will return. Also, Phoebe and Cole hunt for two
demons that are pursuing Belthazor after Phoebe learns that Cole's former
landlady was murdered.
#61 Pre-Witched (Mar 22, 2001)
The sisters individually battle the same demon on three separate
occasions, with each confrontation ending in apparent victory until the demon
reappears at the manor, ready to fight. Meanwhile, Piper announces that she and
Leo plan to move out and get their own apartment.
#62 Sin Francisco (Apr 19,
2001)
Leo and the Halliwell sisters are each infected with one of the
seven deadly sins after a demon attacks them with glowing orbs that contain the
evil desires. Phoebe is the first to react to the wicked impulses, and her
actions jeopardize her academic career.
#63 The Demon Who Came in from
the Cold (Apr 26,
2001)
Cole learns that the Brotherhood, an elite demonic group of which he
was a member, is murdering street prophets to protect a secret plan involving a
computer company, so he goes undercover as Belthazor to infiltrate the
organization.
#64 Exit Strategy (May 5,
2001)
Cole agrees to steal a witch's amulet in order to convince the head
of the Brotherhood that he is still evil. He completes his task without hurting
the witch, but another demon kills her in hopes that Cole will be blamed for
the murder. Meanwhile, Piper's powers begin to malfunction and she
inadvertently blows up everything she points to.
#65 Look Who's Barking (May
10, 2001)
The sisters hunt for a demon that attacks people who are in deep
sorrow, but when they perform a tracking spell, they inadvertently turn Prue
into a Siberian husky. Meanwhile, Cole seeks an alchemist's help in reducing
the human side of his soul.
#66 All Hell Breaks Loose (May
17, 2001)
In the third-season finale, a news crew catches Piper and Prue
vanquishing a demon and the footage airs repeatedly on the local broadcast.
Phoebe travels to the underworld to rid Cole of his evil inclinations.
Season 4
#67 Charmed Again (Oct 4,
2001)
The bewitching series begins its fourth season as a fresh face is
added to the comely coven to replace the departed Shannen Doherty. Rose McGowan
joins the cast as Paige Matthews, a half sister the Charmed Ones never knew
they had. She meets the surviving Halliwells when she feels compelled to attend
Prue's funeral. Phoebe seems to be coping, even after a premonition of Paige's death
at the hands of the same demon that slew Prue. Piper, however, is overwhelmed
by the loss, and her crisis comes to a head when she nearly breaks down during
the memorial service, as Cole faces off against two demonic bounty hunters sent
to kill him.
#68 Hell Hath No Fury (Oct 11,
2001)
Piper vents her anger over
Prue's death by hunting demons, but her vanquishing spree puts her, Phoebe and
Cole in harm's way as she starts taking unnecessary risks. Meanwhile, Paige
steals the Book of Shadows from the mansion and attempts to photocopy the magic
pages.
#69 Enter the Demon (Oct 18,
2001)
Neophyte enchantress Paige creates havoc for the Halliwell sisters
when she clumsily mixes together potions that cause her to switch bodies with
Phoebe just as the Charmed Ones face a Zen master's evil disciple, who opens a
portal between two worlds.
#70 Size Matters (Oct 25,
2001)
A disfigured demon shrinks
Phoebe with a metallic wand when the witch goes alone to a creepy house that
Paige asks her sisters to investigate. Meanwhile, Piper hires a club promoter
to redesign P3, but some of his ideas concern her. Rock guitarist Dave Navarro
performs.
#71 A Knight to Remember (Nov
1, 2001)
Paige inadvertently conjures
up a medieval prince who is under the spell of an enchantress, an evil woman
who looks exactly like Paige and wants to marry the man so she can produce an
heir and rule his kingdom. Elsewhere, Piper and Phoebe ask Paige to move in
with them to make it easier for the sisters to battle demons.
#72 Brain Drain (Nov 8, 2001)
The Source plants a chameleon
demon in the Halliwell mansion to spy on the sisters. The surveillance leads to
an evil plan to convince Piper that she isn't really a witch, but rather a
patient in a mental hospital.
