School's open for the sophomore
season of this perceptive, often provocative series, which introduces three new
regular cast members. The
primary newcomer is a smart and sassy civil lawyer named Ronnie Cooke, an old
friend of Harry Senate, whose visit to Winslow High has a career-altering
impact. The other new characters are teachers: a free-spirited English
instructor, who generates controversy in the classroom; and an avid science
academician, who triggers a macabre investigation involving the troubled teen,
Jeremy Peters.
