| miracleofone 100 ways to be a miracle in the life/lives of another/others at Christmas time: Christmas Spirit Random Kindness and Senseless Acts of Beauty LIve the kindness game... Each time someone does something kind to you... Try to Give the Kindness Forward to 3 others... simply do something kind for 3 others... 1 - Take a hot chocolate to one or more of the Salvation Army helpers standing in the cold collecting the money needed to help those in need... as the Salvation Army does so wonderfully well 2 - Go... visit an elderly person who lives alone... everyone has a story... You may be greatly blessed as You listen to theirs... and they will certainly be blessed for the kindness of You time and ear and heart. 3 - Give tooth brushes and paste to the homeless 4 - If You are having a meal gathering for Christmas day... perhaps starting a tradition of eating at a Chinese or Indian or ??? whatever culture You choose... restaurant on Christmas Day... and enjoy knowing that you have all given the gift of your money to a business and its staff and their families... watch as they delight in serving you... the bigger the group you gather together the better... shoot for $1000 dinner bill - How fun... and pick a different one each year... share the JOY for all around.. 5 - Help another carry their shopping to the car (you don't even have to be shopping yourself... just pop into a store and have fun with this miracle. 6 - Smile... and greet others in a way that lets them know you are really grateful to see them and enjoy their presence 7 - Tell a really great joke (these love to be given forward) 8 - Have fun puttig all the ingredients for really great cookies or soup or whatever... into a single jar... with a note that expresses appreciation for the recipient and gratitude for the good things you enjoy in life... and give one to whom ever comes to mind. 9 - Buy a hot chocolate for a road construction "flag" person... drive by slowly... and give it to them along with a Christmas card. 10 - When you are in line any store or at a restaurant or at the theatre or a toll booth or where ever... let the cashier in on the fun (give them a tip if you want)... and pay for the next person in line (or at least pay for part of whatever they will have to pay) 11 - Drive through the drive through (McDonald's or wherever) backwards and ask the window person... "What would You order right now if you were ordering something for yourself... then ask them how much that would cost... then give them the money to do it. 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - snow - water - kair (kindness/appreciation/inspiration/relief) W5e all have needs from time to time... may we all be so kin6d as to help one another willingly... may the things you find 7in this section help "...when you are in the service of your fellow beings, you are only in the service of your God." - King Benjamin |
