HISTORY: GI once was in a backyard fed just as his brother Joe. Joe got picked up later by 'Superfly' Jimmy Snuka. GI stayed in the backyard fed wrestling for the locals. Then he got picked up by Jimmy Snuka as well. GI went and trained there for awhile, but then headed for Canada to take on The Dungeon, but he was soon kicked out for being to brutal with his kicks because they liked traditional wrestling not brawling. So GI then moved on and went to his brother's old fed IWF.
In IWF GI was the (self proclaimed) Best Hardcore Champion ever...beating people such as Dark Rebel and Wolf. GI then won the US Championship, but a few days after he left IWF due to a horrible knee injury, tearing cartlidge and every ligament in his knee. He was put on the shelf for a long time but soon recovered from the surgury and moved on back up the ladder to BTW. He stayed there for a couple of weeks but due to some managment problems he had to leave. GI then went on to a small fed known as UPW. He went there just to practice so he won't get rusty but soon won the US Championship. GI then decided that he didn't want anything to do with the wrestling business anymore and went into a early retirement.
But GI couldn't stay in retirement for too long because he was getting bored with it. So just a year later he came out of retirement and moved onto his brothers new fed ICW. Upon his arrival he was winning matches left and right having a 12-0 record. During that period he won the BTC Championship from Chris Care. He defended the championship 5x, and thus getting a World Title shot. He won the match against El Enigma and won his very first World Championship. But then GI was getting some hostile remarks from the other wrestlers. They were saying that GI only won things because he was the president's brother. GI almost quit but was talked out of it. During this time GI also got into some problems with Taker aka Armageddon, and his son Reaper. GI soon drove Taker and Reaper out of ICW.(aka they quit :P )
GI was so angry at the backstage stuff he really didn't pay much attention to his job, and during his first title defense against the 7'0 Orb, he lost. But not to fear because GI soon won the Hardcore championship from Creeper in an easy bout. GI soon lost the Hardcore Championship to C4 in a cheap win, it was last man standing and GI hit the CodeRed off a ladder hurting himself and C4, Dark Rider then came out and picked C4 up at 9.9999999 to win the Hardcore Championship from GI. GI then battled with Chris Care for awhile and one of the greatest rivalries in ICW. But thus after GI wanted to taste some more gold and won a Round Robin tournament for the newly made Honor Championship and being the first to win it. But the night after he lost it in a triple threat match against Mental Mickey and Danger when Mickey pinned Danger.
But GI got a next chance at gold being entered into a Gaunlet match for the number 1 contindership for the World Title. The match consisted of Sinister, Birdman, Dark Lord Mantys, Phisch, and Darkrider. He won the match and got his chance to win the World Championship. He soon there after won the title from Bob Rocket. But a month later GI was stripped of the World Title when ICW closed down for awhile due to internal problems. But once ICW reopened GI got a AUTOMATIC shot for the World Championship in a Elimination Chamber match, because he was the last champion. GI then had a fued with Rick Havoc, and at the Elimination Chamber GI was entered in at number 1. He then got a beating from almost everyone, he got hit with weapons, and even got a spear through the glass chamber. But GI wouldn't go down. He made it to the end and nearly beat Rick Havoc by a hair, but GI was messed up internal from rib injures and everything else, he lost the match to Rick Havoc.
GI got a shot for the number 1 contindership the next night against 3 other men that were in the Elimination Chamber match with him, but his injuries were taking control of him and he lost the match. GI then had to go on leave to recover from his injuries but 1 week after he left Joe closed down ICW and he moved on over to the MWF. GI really didn't want to come because Rick Havoc was the president but Joe convinced him to come and GI came to the MWF. GI wants to stay out of the World Title picture for awhile and wants to capture the Hardcore Championship, but he will take what ever comes to him.
Sadly MWF closed soon after it started to due lack of funds. GI just decided to screw it and get a regular job. GI was out of the wrestling scene for about 6 monthes then oneday he was talking to his friend Wolf. Wolf told him about a wrestling company. Wolf sent him to the building and GI soon met up with President Rose. They came to agreements on a contrach and GI was soon back in the wrestling world, and he has came to mark his territory at ASW..no one is safe.
GI started out in ASW winning his first two matches. Then he fought a man known as Jake Turbulence for the #3 Continder's spot for the Hardcore Championship. They battled and battled but then the match came out a draw. So Jake T and GI were co-contenders. They eventually got up to the #1 Spot and then they had a big match involving GI, Jake T, and Woody Scott. The match was a close one. GI did a lot of the work on Scott. He hit the CodeRed and had him finished when Jake T came out of nowhere and stole the pin. During this time a man named Duality arrived. He attacked GI a few times and GI was injured badly from cowardly attacks from Duality and Jake T. GI had a match with Jake T one night to settle it all and he lost due to bad injuries to his ribs. The attacks from Duality continued and then GI retaliated. He started fighting back and Duality and GI soon had a match. Duality and GI had a fued going on but GI soon left ASW. His brother Joe started Pride Wrestling and thats where GI is today.
Soon after GI started in Pride Wrestling Joe decided to close the company only after a few months. GI did a few things here and there until Joe Cool made an ICW Reunion show in the summer of 2005. GI finally got to team with his brother, and Ty Massacre to take on the Uptown Hobos. Once the Pay-per-view was over Joe decided to have regulary scheduled ppvs each month.
GI did well during ICW and even his feud with Sinister and Chirs Care continued to fire up and they had long battles throughout his duration in ICW. Reaper even came back to ICW for a short time and GI decided this would be a great time to settle his differences. He challenged Reaper to a match which Reaper never accepted. GI contined to challenge Reaper and eventually Reaper quit ICW. GI claims that he was afraid of him and that he ran Reaper out of ICW for the 2nd time. He boast about it for weeks and then he realizes that Dark Rider is making a return. GI never did get his revenge for the screwjob from years back so he challenged Dark Rider to a match and easily beat him. GI didn't even feel like it was a challenge. GI made a good run in ICW, continuing his long running feud with Chris Care, getting a chance to get revenge on Dark Rider, and he even go to prove himself to Rick Havoc once more. But sadly, good things don't last forever and for the 2nd time ICW closed down, for reasons Joe Cool never explained.
