The concept of Inexorus originated back in high school in 1999 when Keen and Swiercz were writing songs basically just for something to do. It was just 2 dudes and a drum machine cuz no one could play fast enough drums at age 16 in the area. "We went through like 5 drummer kids in a 3 month span, and the supply was exhausted." "They all thought we were crazy playing that fast." We had 5 songs and nobody to play them with.""Eventually we just kinda forgot em all and had misplaced the tapes lol." Inexorus' new lineup,Keen,Nelson,Scherrer
and Swiercz, took form in Dec. 2003 when Swiercz and Scherrer left the band Porcelian Effigy to play something heavier. Keen stopped by a week later. Swiercz: " This is Dan, and we call this song THE TRUTH. See if you can't do a lil' somthin' somethin' with it." Keen: "They jammed it out and I said Gimmie a tape."
Once THE TRUTH had lyrics and a shiny new solo, It was time to give Nelson a call.
