Drow Grammar

Plurals
Regular noun forms are pluralized by adding the suffix "-en" if it ends in a consonant, or if it ends with a vowel, "-n" is added.
Example: Jabbress - Jabbressen; Velve - Velven

Possessive
This is like the 's on English words, and it is the same in Drow. Where something belongs to something else, 's is added. If the word already ends in "s", then an apostrophe (') is added, same as in English.
Example: Nindil zhah lil velg'larn's inthen.

Adjectives
Adjectives have three forms, which are positive, comparative, and superlative, such as happy, happier, and happiest. Regular adjective forms are made like this:
Comparative: "-ur"
Superlative: "-url"
Where many English words have "-ful" on the end (example: cheerful), Drow has the suffix "-urn" instead, and the words "more" and "most" are translated as "mzild" and "mzilst" for use with adjectives which already contain the "-urn" ending.
Example: olath, olathur, olathurl

Adverbs
These contain the same three forms as adjectives and the comparative and superlative forms are done the same way, by adding "-ur" and "-url". The Drow suffix "-ne" takes the place of the English suffix "-ly" (or just "-e" if it ends in "n"), and the words for "more" and "most" remain the same.
Example: al, alur, alurl
