Captain Troy is the Grandson of Commander Adama. He's also one of the most important characters in G80. He's played by Adam 12 star Kent Mccord who has recently acted in the huge succses, Stargate. Troy is much more (if you'll excuse the pun) down to Earth than Dillon, who often suggests fantastic schemes which Troy shoots down at light speed.
Troy was one of the first warriors to land on Earth and definately one of the most succsesful in his mission. He was assigned to find and ally himself with Dr. Mortinson, a prominent Earth scientest who was interested in nuclear fission and extra terrestrial life. It took Troy a great deal of time to adjust to his missions on Earth.
He is an intelligent leader who makes it clear that he is in command although his part wasn't clearly defined. The terrible writing often dragged the character down but Mccord plays the part well and is fairly believable.
