Chicago, popularly known as 'Pride of the Praire' and 'Windy City', is my home base. Tourists know this city for Sears Tower, music lovers know it for the House of Blues, art and history lovers know it for its art and history museums, beach lovers and sailboat owners know it for its Lakeshore Drive, and night-time revellers know it for its night life.
It is said that Chicago has two seasons: Winter and Construction. Greater Chicago, better known as Chicagoland, is a maze of highways. Like any big city, Chicago has its share of problems such as heavy traffic during peak hours, but all its pros outweigh the cons.
Some of the most well-known sights are Sears Tower, Navy Pier, the museum campus which includes the History Museum, Adler Acquarium and Adler Planetarium. Here are a few pictures of Downtown Chicago...
