Education

1995 - 2001

Master of Science in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, DTU. I am specialised in indoor environment and low energy buildings. My activities during my studies include:

  • Building energy simulations using Tsbi3, Bsim2000, Heat2, Heat3 and Therm.
  • Bachelor-level project on evacuated tube solar collectors. The project involved both computer simulations and experimental work.
  • Master Thesis on the influence of the indoor environment on comfort and productivity.
  • Projects on solar heating, ventilation of houses, floor heating, and others.
  • Drawing in AutoCad and Visio.
  • Programming using MatLab/SimuLink, Pascal and HTML.
  • Data analysis using the SAS System.
1991 - 1994

Upper Secondary Education, mathematics line at Risskov Amtsgymnasium in �rhus. The exam, matematisk studentereksamen in Danish, qualifies for admission the university.

Work Experience
January 1999 -
September 2000

Employed in the department of Energy Planning at the major Danish consultant company Ramb�ll. Ramb�ll is running the information service EnergiOplysningen for the Danish Energy Agency. I answered enquiries on energy-related questions from companies, public institutions and citizens.

May 1997 -
June 1998

Service assistant in the department store Magasin in Lyngby.

September 1994 -
June 1995

Employed in the departments of Industrial Electrics & Ventilation at Ejnar A. Wilson in �rhus. I built electrical controls and helped install these.

Stays Abroad

September 1999 -
December 1999

Stay at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. Besides taking courses, I performed an individual project on Solar Heating.

July 1998 -
August 1998

Employed as a trainee at the Technical University of Lappeenranta in Finland. I modeled airflows using the CFD program Fluent.

Languages
 
  • Danish, maternal language.
  • English, fluent. I am used to use English, not least because of my stay in Canada. I have written several reports in English, including my Master Thesis at DTU.
  • Spanish, able to communicate and read simple texts. I took and intensive 3-week Spanish course in Ecuador in the summer of 2000, and spent the following months traveling in South America.
  • German, able to communicate and read simple texts.
