Key Qualification and relevant Professional Experience during the past 10 years: (maximum of 10 lines)

  1. Student project entitled �Energy Simulations for Buildings in Malaysia� (5 months in Malaysia 1999/2000).
    The project was carried out at the Centre for Thermal Comfort Studies at University Putra Malaysia. The project work consisted of a) the making of an hourly Malaysian weather data year (TRY, Test Reference Year) b) energy simulations with TSBI3 on buildings using the Malaysian weather data year c) project related field trips and industry visits d) participation in 4 seminars � two of which I presented a paper e) organising full-day seminar entitled �Environment Friendly Townships in Developing Countries� with my supervisor d) brief collaboration with Danced on capacity building project and d) extensive networking within universities, organisations and industry.

  2. Foreign aid project / student project in Ghana. Title: �Solar Cells for Cooling an Lighting� (3 months total in 1998 + 1999)
    Team leader of solar cell project in two rural health centres in Ghana. The initiative to the project came within the group (five M.Sc. students), and we were able to plan, carry out and fund (kr. 300.000) the project. The project was successful included a follow-up phase one year later (more information at: www.geocities.com/jekfonden).

  3. Presentation of paper �Malaysian Weather Data (TRY) for Energy Simulations in Buildings�
    Word Renewable Energy Congress, Brighton (July 1-7, 2000), pp. 571-574.
