EvilLaughKid ------------------ Zelda turned, Green ribbons rose from the ground and swirled around her. While this was happening, a great purple black ball of energy hit her from behind, sending her flying. "Do you think that much can even bruise me?" Mewtwo threw back his head and laughed. "Come on!" yelled Fox and shot three blasts at him with his laser. Mewtwo dissapeared . . . and reapered behind Fox. Mewtwo picked him up, rather, he waved his arm and Fox rose. Suddenly Fox shot into the air, followed by several small purple blasts. Mewtwo turned to the princess of Hyrule, only to find no-one there. *Pfoof* There is a flash of smoke and Shiek appears. Shiek jumps into the air, and whips 4 small wooden spikes at Mewtwo. Mewtwo waves his hand and the are cast aside. Shiek lands infront of Mewtwo and lands two kicks and a punch on Mewtwo. "You are more skilled then you seem, but you are no match for me!" said Mewtwo. Yelling loudly, Mewtwo gathers energy in his hands for his next attack. . . Thomas ----------- Before Mewtow gather`s the energy required he is pelted with fire-balls,it wasn`t enough to hurt but it was distracting none the less,he turned around and said in a condescending voice "Haven`t you two given up yet?",he hit the two plumber`s flying with a wave of force.As he turned round he recieved a kick to the face and quickly put up his shield to defend against a blaster shot. Mewtwo scoffed,"this is amusing but you are no match for me,single or combined",he swatted Sheik out of his way with his tail and made toward`s Fox.Before he reached him a surge of electricity went through his body stunning him for the minute then a feel`s something hitting him.Mario was performing an uppercut knocking gold coin`s out of his opponent as Sheik got up and fired another load of spike`s. Mewtwo recovered and hit the plumber toward`s the ground with a wave of his hand.A small distance away Link was now blocking most of Gannondorf but recieved a punch to the ribs and doubled over,a bolt of electricity flew out of a bush and hit the Gerudo preventing him from following.Link got up and tackled his enemy useing his shield. As Luigi helped his dazed brother sit up he nervously said,"This could go on-a all night" Author X ------------ Through all this, Young Link sat, dazed and confused, near the bushes. "Zelda...?" He remembered the name from somewhere, and after a moment, remembered... the dream! The cat-thing said it wasn't a dream, and now... perhaps... he shook his head and looked around, hoping to make himself useful. Seeing the moustache guy and his brother laying off to the side, he ran over and asked if they were all right. "Mama mia, what is dat thing?" "I think... Mewtwo... yes, that's it's name. It was sent here against it's will." "Eh?" said Luigi, leaning up on his elbows, "how you-ah know that?" Link helped Mario up, "I... I'm not sure, really. He looked at me and..." "Yes, we saw. You just-ah stood there! What-ah happened?" "I don't know. He spoke to me... somehow." He then leaned over and helped up the taller Luigi. "Here, drink this. It should give you some energy back," he told the two moustached brothers and handed them a bottle of Lon Lon Milk. "Ah, thanks, kid! You okay? You looked pretty shook up." "No, I think I'm okay now," said Link, then chuckled as the milk stuck to Mario's moustache. "Yah, that's-ah the spirit! Wow, this stuff works great! Here, try some!" He handed the bottle to Luigi. "Wait... where's Kirby?!?!" Link looked franticly around, and ran off in search of his new friend. "Hey, kid? You want this back?" Luigi shrugged, took a slug of the milk, and slipped it into his overalls. "Come on, we got-tah go help her!" "Eh? Oh, yeah!" looking up, he saw that the princess was gone, but a new fighter was fighting with the monster. It began charging another attack, and Mario lept between them, and whipped his cape out, knocking the large shadowball back at it. "So that's-ah how you want-tah play, is it?" Elsewhere, the battle between Link and Gannondorf raged on. Finnally, Link managed to catch his foe off-guard and fired a silver arrow into his chest. Gannondorf was knocked back, and hit the ground hard. Link, sensing he had perhaps won the battle, walked up to Gannondorf and held out his sword to his neck. Suddenly, there was a flash of light, forcing Link to look away. When he looked back, his eyes widened. Gannondorf was gone, and in his place was a small trophy in his likeness. Confused, Link bent over and picked it up. This was certainly a strange adventure, and he sensed it was only beginning Tiamat Zero ----------------- MewTwo charged up another Shadow Ball, sending it at the group of bruised heros. "WATCHA OUT!" Mario yelled a warning, everyone scrambling out of the way seconds before the shadow ball collided. The stray power hit a tree, making it explode into splinters. MewTwo growled. "All I want to do is go back home...but first I will destroy you for interfearing!!" A spiraling, smoking yellow creature hit mewtwos head with its own, the shocked cat pokemon fell. Pikachu rubbed her head from SkullBash, recovering and crouching on all fours. Pika! MewTwo laughed, looking way down at the little electric rodent. "And what do you plan to do? Shock me?" It glared waiting for an answer. Pikachu grinned evilly and yelled, lightning coming straight down to its small form, MewTwo getting hit. Electricity burned through it, sending the MewTwo flying across the field, sliding roughly into the dirt. It pulled itself up (tell me if mewtwo is a he/she in this story please..) and glared. It ran, flying at the rodent only to realize this was all a trap. Pikachus cheeks sparked in energy, charging, and the moment that MewTwo came close enough, released it's powerful attack. The mewtwo was sent flying again, and caught itself with an exhausted sigh. "This is going nowhere..." Pikachu scratched her ear, looking at the other combatants. *in confusion* Pi..... MewTwo brushed itself off. Considering on attacking or just leaving.... cutefuzzycritter -------------------- The Mewtwo backup a few more yards, and removed the small metal darts from his back. This fight had become increasingly annoying with the arrivel of each and every fighter, and he could sense the pressence of yet another, waiting and watching in the bushes. These fighters were weak, but they were deteremined, and their stubborness might prove just to be enough to overtake his power, even if it killed all of them. " Well, who's next?" The Mewtwo asked watching his enemies form a ring around him. The Electric Rodent, the Princess, the Fox, the Plumbers, and now joining them, the green warrior. " AHHHHHH!!!!" A voice screamed. At first the Mewtwo thought it was the boy. To high to be a man's yet not high enough to be a woman's. He was wrong. It was that odd ball like creature. It came running into the field madly from the woods. On the other side, the man with red hair who had been watching the fight develop also came retreating from the woodland edge. Sword drawn, and back peddling as quickly as he could. The boy was quick to aid the small pink puff ball. " They're everwhere." Kirby gasped exausted. " What is?" The boy asked. " Them." Kirby said motioning towards the woods. The boy looked towards the woods, and seem shocked by what he saw. The Mewtwo was just as confused as the boy, as he glanced around him. From the edges of the woods they were emerging. An entire army of them. " Impossible." The older link declared as he began to become aware of the danger. " Yes, it is..." The Mewtwo agreed absently. This army looked like they could have been perfect replicates of the warrior that looked around in confusion. Link, an entire army of Links. Despite the fact they looked no differant then the man who stood next to him, they were not him. They did not think like him, in truth they did not think at all. The Mewtwo's fists clentched as he gazed at the walking abominations. They were not living creatures, but meerly puppets operated by some unseen set of hands. The fighters backed into each other as the Army of Links drew closer. The new stranger readied his sword as if to charge every now and then as he reached the circle one asked. " Who are you?" " Roy." The fighters stared at the army as they drew closer. " We'll never be able to kill them all." Roy scowled, " There's more of them comming. Like an infinite army. They just seem to fall out of the sky." " What are we going to do?" Young link asked. " We'll have to cut a path through them." The older Link answered. " Where to?" Kirby asked exausted. " Hyrule Temple. The mystic forces there should be able to keep these shadows out of the temple." Link answered. " No, these shadows are of you Link. Even the forces there, might not be able to hold them off forever." Zelda whispered. " It's worth a try." Link said desperately. " We can-a take the warp pipes! Their should-a be one not to far from here." Mario suggested. " But we-a don't know where we'll be! Those-a pipes haven't-a been used in ages." Luigi reminded him. " I have a starship, I can have Falco pilot down a transport to our current location, but we'll have to hold them off untill it arrives." Fox said as he pulled out a com link. " Assuming we even live that long." Roy frowned as some of the Link's stopped well behind the others and pulled out bows. " Well...Someone decide!" Young Link yelled. An arguement over which was the best course of action errupted between the fighters. The Mewtwo watched the army of Links close in around him. " Pi. Pika. Pika. Chuuuu...." " I hate to admit, that I think you're right. I doubt they will agree on anything either. We'll each just have to pick what we think is the safest path." The Mewtwo agreed. " Here they come!" Pikaaa!" Mario looked up. "Its'a Yoshi!" Yoshi, was running by the ocean, head down just running. He stopped and looked up! "Mario! Luigi!" Luigi laughed. "Yay! Its-a Yoshi!" "Hey I already said-a that." Mario kicked Luigi. "Pi...?" Yoshi was gasping for air. "We *gasp* Have a *huff* problem" Mario and Luigi exchanged glances. "What?" Pika pi!! *frantic* *Yoshi, Luigi, and Mario turned around, looking up as a huge shadow overcast them* "AHHHHHHH ITS-A BOWSER!!.... ************ Roy and Link were running side by side, Fox was a faster runner, occasionaly stopping and shooting at any link clones that decided to follow him. Link looked up. "WE'RE ALMOST THERE!" Nate_the_Demon ------------------------ "Don't tell me we're lost!" Roy complained to Link. "Unfortunately, yes..." Link said sluggishly. "You're from Hyrule, also, right? Why don't you just do some crazy magic and get us outta this forest!" Exclaimed Fox. "Oh, Zelda can only do that.... but I can think of one way...." explained Link, "I remember it's to the north.... but by going north, we'd run into lots of enemies including a big one called a dark clone.... it takes the form of the strongest living thing around it and increases its power including the original power of yourself...." continued Link. "And.... what's our next perogitive?" asked Roy. "to go to the west.... It'll take longer but it's ransacked by less fearful foes...." Link Explained about their second choice. "Well that's just ironic!" murmured Fox. "I say we take the shorter way." said Roy "And get ourselves killed?! I say we take the longer way!" yelled Fox angrily. "Great! We're in for a long fight...." Link said under his breath. Tiamat Zero ---------------- Young Link ran through the jungle, following Zelda, and MewTwo, Kirby following behind him. "Why are we running?" MewTwo stopped, Zelda hitting him from behind accidently. She fell back and he caught her with his psychic energy, putting her onto her feet. "I don't remember why..." Zelda stated. "I think because we began running from the Link clones." Young Link shrugged, sighing and resting his hands on his knees, bending over slightly catching his breath. Kirbys stomach growled. "I'm hungry." Link laughed and stretched. "I'll help you find something to eat." "Really!?" Kirby seemed to glow with excitement. Link smiled. "Zelda, MewTwo we're going to find something to eat. We'll meet you right back here okay?" The two smiled at one another and dashed off into the jungle. Zelda sat down on a conviniently placed Rock, sighing. What were these trophies? How were they all here? What was all the fighting about in the first place? MewTwo leaned against a tree with his arms crossed, eyes closed. He knew exactly what she was thinking. "Trophies...Meeting...Fighting." he began. She looked up at him in surprise. "I don't understand it either...Sheik." He smiled. Zelda jumped up. "How'd you know I was Sheik!?! MewTwo smiled again. "I know. I'm psychic remember?" She brushed a strand of blonde hair behind her ear. "Now I do..." MewTwo sat down on the ground in front of her. "What we need to discuss, is how to find the others and stop this mess..." (in the jungle) Young Link slid down the tree, frustrated he took out his sword and slashed it, bark flying off from the trunk. "Awww man!" he sheathed his sword and looked up at the heap of ripe bananas growing above him. Kirby looked up and threw a rock at it. Nothing worked. "I want some." Link sighed and jumped on the trunk again, trying to gain hold and pull himself up, getting only halfway and falling off. He landed into the bushes, sending a metal oval device bouncing from the bushes. Kirby picked it up. Instantly it made two beeping sounds. "Link? What is this?" Link pulled himself up. "Kirby see if you can fly..." he blinked looking around the area. "Kirby?" The bananas fell to the ground. Link peered only to see a shadow of his friend. He looked again, Kirby appearing into view, the used item still in his hand. "What was that?" Link asked poking at the device. "I don't know." Kirby replied. "But you were...invisible." Link pointed out. "Really?" "Yeah." "Oh...LETS EAT!" Link and Kirby split the share in 4ths, to save some for MewTwo and Zelda, sat down right there, and chowed down on bananas. Donkey Kongs nose caught an enlightening scent of his favourite food. He climbed up a tree and looked down at the young hylian and ball of fluff. "Hmmm.." He pondered on taking the food.... AuthorX ----------- Zelda sat and listened to Mewtwo as he explained how he got to Hyrule. "And he tried to force you to do what he said? That must have been awful. But... this device he used... you said it would leave some effects around that area?" "Yes... I'm afraid that's how that pikachu got there as well. I also found this while we were going through the jungle." A small red and white ball floated up from the ground. "What is it?" "A pokeball. We- pokemon- can be captured or held in these. If a pokemon was in it when it fell through the one-way portal, it should still be in here. But if it were let out, it would return to Kanto after a few seconds. Knowing my brethren, it would most likely fight for whoever let it out for that moment, thinking he was it's trainer." "Trainer...?" "It... it is hard to explain. If you throw this, it will open and the pokemon will fight for you and disapear. My only fear is if another pokemon was to be transported... by now, the portal would begin wavering, and sending anything in it to a random point, not even necisarily in Hyrule. I fear that another wild pokemon may fall in." "But... you said it was on an island, right?" "Yes, but there are many pokemon, and any number could reach that island. I propose, however, that we discuss the matter at hand." "Oh, yes. Before I came out and... attacked you," she blushed as she spoke, "I was looking at this." She held up a small trophy, with a strange figurine on top. "It's in the likeness of an octorock, a type of monster common in Hyrule. I found it earlier in Lake Hylia. The odd thing is, I can still feel a faint life force still eminating from this... trophy." "Hmm, yes. When the one who attacked me when I appeared, Gannondorf, was defeated by your warrior Link, he seemed to dissapear. Then, when Link drew near, I could feel Gannondorf's power, faintly, as though confined or sealed somehow." "About... when I was Shiek..." "Think nothing of it. You saw your hero in peril and were trying to defend him." "Yes... don't you think the children have been gone an awfully long while?" Suddenly, a cry rang out from the direction they had been heading. Worried, Zelda jumped up and began running towards the sound, with Mewtwo following along behind. Reaching a clearing, they saw Link standing in front of Kirby, who was trying to protect a pile of bananas, and holding his sword out towards a large gorilla. The gorilla, wearing a tie with the letters "DK," which looked somewhat out of place, gave Link a wide grin before picking him up and setting him down off to the side, then lumbered over to the pile of bananas and did the same to Kirby. Seeing Zelda, they both ran over to her, Link looking annoyed and Kirby looking sad. "We're sorry. We tried to save you some." "But that big brute jumped out of the treetops." "And we tried to stop him." "But he stole our food." Smiling, Zelda patted them on thier heads and told them it was okay, it wasn't their fault. Meanwhile, Mewtwo took a moment to size up the brute who was gorging himself on bananas. He didn't seem particularly intelligent, but he had plenty of strength. And quite an appitite, by the looks of it... Ryoga the lost one ------------------------- Donkey Kong was starving, "Ohhh man, I need some bannanas" he said hungrily. All of a sudden he heard a voice and went to see who it was. When he saw them he didn't even care that one was a kid with a sword and the other was a puffball, all he cared about was what they were eating. He hardly had to think before he took the bannanas and started to gorge. "You! Who are you!" Cryed someone behind him. "I'm Donkey Kong, what do you want?" DK asked curiously as he looked over his shoulder. "I want to know why you attacked my freinds!" yelled the voice again, what he saw was a beautiful woman who looked somewhat like a princess. "Nothing personal, but I was hungry! Now who are you?" DK responded. He was very curious as to who these people were. Now that his stomach was satisfied he got up and saw a strange group. "I am Zelda." the princess said. "I'm sorry about attacking, but I really needed something to eat." DK said sorrily. "Your apology is accepted, would you please tell us where we are?" responded Zelda. "Sure, your in Congo Jungle, but why are you here?" DK was very curious. "We were running away from a bunch of things that looked like him." Mewtwo said as he pointed to Link. "I and Zelda created a portal to escape, and we wound up here". Oh said DK, DK still felt bad about what he did and so he thought of a way he could make up for it. "Hey! To make up for stealing your bannanas, how bout I help you guys out!" DK said cheerfully. "Really?" said Kirby, who seemed quite interested. "Well why not! I don't have anything else to do anyway." DK said. "Thank you." said Kirby appreciatively. "OK, lets go!" DK yelled out, "wait! I'm still hungry" said Young Link.
