OK, The people have demanded updated pictures on the website and we have responded. I had a good two & a half months of pictures to catch up on. During the month of July we had a lot of family in town to see Indigo. August was pretty relaxed, not much happened except for a few trips to the beach. September was a bit more exciting. I had a business trip in New York that just coincided with the long Labor Day weekend so we all went up to New York and spent some time with Sharon's Aunt & Uncle at their home in Lynbrook on Long Island. Then we spent a few days in Manhattan. It was a little rainy but we still managed to have a really fun time.

Indigo enjoyed having a lot of her family over to visit her over the past few weeks. July 27th was her blessing day and she had both sets of grandparents there plus her Aunt Angie, Aunt Diana & Uncle Lou.
This last week Indigo followed in her sister's footsteps and started her modeling career. Her first modeling job was for a German catalog. She's already a pro!

We had a good fourth of July with Indigo. She went and saw "Finding Nemo" but she slept through the entire thing. She also slept through most of the fireworks. Come to think of it she pretty much slept most of the day. Oh well. We were able to get a few pictures of her awake so check those out.

Today is our new baby Indigo's birthday. She was brought into this world at
1:18 am. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 8 oz. and measured 20.5 inches in length.
She has a dark complexion with a lot of dark brown hair.
When Sharon went into labor it was a rainy Monday afternoon. Sharon was very relaxed during the contractions but they were becoming very regular so we went to Miami Beach Maternity Center to see how far she had progressed. At 4:00 Sharon had dilated to 5 cm. It took another 2 hours to get up to a 7 and lucky 7 is where it wanted to stay. The only thing that would keep the contractions coming was for Sharon to walk around so she spent a good 7 hours on her feet. At around 12:45 am she had her water broken to accelerate the labor. We were ready to get this show on the road.
Immediately after her water broke she started to have much harder contractions and we got in the hot tub. A few minutes later and she was pushing. At 1:18 the baby came up out of the water and into the hands of her parents. She was absolutely perfect - not swollen or anything. And she was so calm. She let out a little cry as she took in her first breath. She is such a beautiful baby and will be a joyous addition to our family.
When Kiara first held Indigo they both looked at each other with such awe. Kiara has been so excited and helpful. She puts the blanket on the baby and helps out when we change her diaper. She is going to be such a good big sister.
