I graduated from Algonquin College in 1997 from the Practical Nursing Program. I continued my education with various management and behavior management courses. I worked in Pediatrics (at CHEO) part time for a short time as one of my first jobs in the field. I got married in 1998, had my son in 1999, and my daughter in 2001. Since the birth of my daughter I have been waiting for the perfect time to make the career change from Nurse to Home Child Care Provider. Once my children grew confident and quite independant in their day to day activities, I knew then I could provide the love and attention each child in my care required. Able to go that extra mile to ensure the hapiness of each and every child.
I will use my knowlege to offer stimulating, developmental activities when your child is ready for them. I continue to attend child development, behaviour management as well as child care workshops to ensure I am keeping myself current.
